On 3 Jun 05 Lt. Huffer investigated a report
of a fifteen year old Warren Elementary School student threatening
to harm himself. Lt. Huffer transferred this case to the juvenile’s
parents and Mental Health Services for further action.
On 3 Jun 05 Brian Huggins, age 30, 314 East
Fourth Street, Williamstown, reported learning through a mutual
friend that another individual used his personal information
to obtain natural gas at his home in Washington County. This
case remains under investigation (1203).
On 3 Jun 05 Suzanne M. Robinson, age 32, 1444
North Johnson Street, New Orleans, reported her wallet, containing
seventy dollars in cash and credit cards, was stolen from inside
her unlocked vehicle between 11 am and 1:30 pm that day. This
case remains under investigation (232).
On 3 Jun 05 while on routine patrol on Miler
Road, Deputy Sheriff Rhodes encountered a running vehicle parked
partially in the roadway near the intersection of Sparling
Road. In speaking to the driver, Donna M. Parsons, age 43,
1385 Hayesville Road, Waterford, Deputy Rhodes noticed an odor
of alcohol and requested Ms. Parsons perform field sobriety
tests. Following her poor performance on the tests, Deputy
Rhodes arrested Ms. Parsons for being in physical control of
a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and transported
her to the Washington County Jail.
On 3 Jun 05 an employee of Bartlett Farmer’s
Bank, 515 State Route 339, Barlow, reported receiving a cashier’s
check for $65,000 that was reported stolen by the FDIC on 19
Jan 05. This case remains under investigation (602).
On 3 Jun 05 a passing motorist flagged down
Deputy Sheriff Mankins to inform him that the driver of a silver
Jeep was operating erratically on State Route 26. Deputy Mankins
located the vehicle near milepost eleven on State Route 26
and conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle travel
left of center. When asked to produce his license, the driver,
James S. Banks, age 41, 306 Putnam Avenue, Marietta, fumbled
through his wallet unsuccessfully and reeked of alcohol. When
Mr. Banks submitted to field sobriety tests with poor results,
Deputy Mankins arrested him for OVI and for driving left of
center and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Denver Drew McCoy, age 50, 729 Eighth Street,
Marietta, for breach of recognizance and for disorderly conduct
by intoxication, both misdemeanors. McCoy was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun 05 at
12:01 am.
Robert Jacob Becker Jr., age 60, 1023 Greene
Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Becker
was arrested at his residence by Detective Tilton of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 3 Jun 05 at 2:00 pm.
Miriam Jean Sergent, age 43, 1023 Greene Street, Marietta,
for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Sergent was arrested at
her residence by Detective Tilton of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 3 Jun 05 at 2:00 pm.
James Stuart Banks, age 41, 306 Putnam Avenue, Marietta, for
OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Banks
was arrested on County Road 26 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun 05 at 9:45
pm.
Donna Marie Parsons, age 43, 1385 Hayesville Road, Waterford,
for being in physical control of a vehicle while under the
influence, a misdemeanor. Parsons was arrested on County Road
102 by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 3 Jun 05 at 11:20 pm.
