On 17 May 05 Lt. Canavan and Deputy Sheriff
Simmons responded to the scene of a domestic dispute at 125
Rummer Road, Marietta. Mandy L. Biehl, age 28, stated her husband
Allen, age 33, began calling her names and ordering her and
their children to leave the residence for good. Escaping to
the bathroom to phone her grandmother, Mr. Biehl barged in,
usurped the phone from his wife then threw two large plants
from the living room at her. As Mrs. Biehl attempted to leave
the residence her husband threw a lighted cigarette at her,
burning her hair and left forearm before fleeing the home himself.
Mr. Biehl returned a short time later and as his wife and children
departed, threatened that if she returned she would regret
it. Based on their investigation and as a result of Mr. Biehl’s
