On 12 May 05 Deputy Sheriff Spencer responded
to 333 State Route 555, Little Hocking, where the driver of
a dump truck inadvertently struck a hanging television cable
line. As he dumped gravel, Delbert P. Whited, age 61, 22 Alpine
Street, Mineral Wells, the raised bed of his truck caught the
line and pulled it down along with two electric cable lines
and two electric power poles. Allegheny Power repaired the
damaged lines, but prior to their arrival a motorist on State
Route 555 drove over the lines causing minor damage to their
vehicle. No injuries were reported.
On 12 May 05 while conducting a routine check
on registered sex offenders, a neighbor informed Deputy Sheriff
Summers that Andrew T. Hatzer, age 25, no longer resided at
322 Harmar Street, Marietta. As a result, Deputy Summers requested
a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Hatzer for failure to notify
a change of address as a registered sex offender.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Donald L. Bartimus, age 29, 1576 Elizabeth
Street, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license and for
failing to stop at a stop sign on 3 May 05.
Robert A. Nickols, age 27, for failing to register a change
of address as a registered sex offender.
Susan R. Harvey, age 31, 1172 State Route
555, Cutler, for harboring a vicious dog without liability
insurance on 7 Sep 04.
Juanita D. Lynn, age 27, Pennock Trailer Court Lot 49, Beverly,
for assault and for domestic violence on 6 Aug 04.
Larry E. Sparks, age 49, 314 Harmar Street, Marietta, for
failing to appear to serve thirty days in jail on 6 May 05.
The following
individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:
Patrick Alan Brannan, age 43, Smithfield Farms
Road, Minette, AL, for a felony charge of domestic violence
and misdemeanor charges of OVI, speeding and failure to appear.
Brannan was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail in
Charleston by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 12 May 05 at 1:20 pm.
