On 8 May 05 William Jaime, 2775 North Riverview Road, Malta, reported a golf cart struck the front driver side fender of his Volkswagen Beetle while parked at Arrowhead Golf Course on State Route 60 in Lowell. Mr. Jaime contacted the owner who informed him his insurance would cover the damage (1184).

On 8 May 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a citation to Deborah Rauck-Horst, age 53, 3001 Progress Pike Drive, Stow, OH, for traveling 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped Ms. Rauck-Horst on State Route 7 near Bender Road in Warren Township.

On 8 May 05 James Tenney, age 52, 219 Coventry Road, Marietta, reported while his 2004 Firebird was parked at the Cliffside Carryout for fours hours beginning at 9 pm on 7 May, an unknown suspect scratched the driver’s side door. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 8 May 05 Deputy Sheriff Mankins initiated a traffic stop after a vehicle traveled left of center on County Road 9 between Jennings Hill and Jett Hill Roads. Noticing an odor of alcohol, Deputy Mankins question a passenger in the vehicle, Jennifer R. Barth, age 18, 299 County Road 9, Reno. Ms. Barth admitted consuming alcohol earlier in the evening, was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 8 May 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks investigated a report of an unknown male drunkenly staggering around in the vicinity of McDonald Road. Deputy Parks located the suspect, Randall C. Wilson, age 47, 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, wandering aimlessly down the center of McDonald Road. Arresting Mr. Wilson for disorderly conduct by intoxication, Deputy Parks found a marijuana roach in Mr. Wilson’s wallet resulting in an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jesse Scott Books, age 22, 909 Phillips Street, Marietta, for three misdemeanor counts of contempt of a court order. Books was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 May 05 at 1:45 am.

Jeremy John McFall, age 25, 8635 Turkey Run Road, St Marys, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. McFall was arrested at Buckeye Park by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 May 05 at 2:00 am.

Jennifer Rose Barth, age 18, 299 County Road 9, Reno, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Barth was arrested on County Road 9 in Newport by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 May 05 at 5:15 am.

Randall Craig Wilson, age 47, 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Wilson was arrested on McDonald Road in Vincent by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 May 05 at 8:25 pm.
