On 6 May 05 an employee of Ace Hardware, Central
Plaza, Beverly, reported after witnessing a male and female
acting suspiciously earlier in the day, the duo later returned
and stole a Skil battery powered drill from the store. This
case remains under investigation (292).
On 6 May 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic dispute at a residence on Smith
Hill Road in Reno. The home’s thirty-four year old matriarch
stated her thirteen year old son became upset, verbally abusive
and threatened to punch his sister in the mouth. Further refusing
to acquiesce, the juvenile pack some belongings in a trash
bag and kicked his sister in the knee prior to leaving the
house. As a result of the juvenile’s behavior Deputy
Parks requested a summons for him to appear in Juvenile Court
on delinquency charges.
On 6 May 05 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to
Sheri McNary-Strzalkowski, age 50, 2017 Fifth Street, Cuyahoga
Falls, OH, for driving under a suspended license. Lt. Wilson
stopped Ms. McNary-Strzalkowski at milepost fifteen on State
Route 7 in Warren Township.
On 6 May 05 an employee of Napoli’s
Pizza, 6965 State Route 339, Vincent, reported while the business
was closed during overnight hours, an unknown suspect(s) forcibly
entered the building through the north side door, stole cash
from a bank deposit bag and removed the VCR recording surveillance
footage. This case remains under investigation (592).
On 6 May 05 Sgt. Hiatt issued a citation to
Dan L. Tewkesbury, age 42, 315 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for
driving under an FRA suspended license. Sgt. Hiatt stopped
Mr. Tewkesbury on State Route 7 near Products Lane in Marietta
Township.
On 6 May 05 an employee of Dunham Square Car
Wash, 3876 State Route 339, Belpre, reported an unknown suspect(s)
stole a small amount of petty cash from the business. This
case remains under investigation (592).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Dana B. Curry, age 33, 106 Riley Drive, Marietta,
for a burglary he perpetrated on 18 Apr 05.
Desiree N. Davis, age 20, 716 Franklin Avenue, Belpre, for
fishing without a resident’s license on 17 Apr 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Roberta Lynn Wainwright, age 25, 201 Swissvale
Avenue Apt. 3, Pittsburgh, PA, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Wainwright
was arrested near the intersection of Second and Putnam Streets
in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 6 May 05 at 1:30 am.
Patricia Ann Jones, age 28, 2627 Meadowview
Drive, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of her probation,
for driving under a suspended license and for failure to appear
at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanor.
Jones was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Coppernoll
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 May 05 at
3:35 pm.
Billy Dale Smith Jr., age 38, 304 Maple Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Smith was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
6 May 05 at 10:45 pm.
