On 5 May 05 Deputies responded to the report
of the death of a fifty-four year old Waterford resident. While
it appears the victim intentionally left his truck running
in his closed garage, this case remains under investigation
(501, 905, 1190, 1203).
On 5 May 05 an employee of Byer’s Exxon,
38175 State Route 7, Newport, reported the driver of a white
Dodge four door vehicle drove off without paying for $10.34
of unleaded regular gasoline. This case remains under investigation
(1071).
On 5 May 05 Shawn Connelly, age 23, 177 Front
Street Apt. 3, Marietta, reported between 3 and 5 May an unknown
suspect(s) broke into his father’s home at 325 Remely
Road, Cutler, broke a number of items in the house and stole
his Homelite chainsaw. This case remains under investigation
(292).
On 5 May 05 Kristin Brockmeier, age 40, 177
Fourth Street, Lowell, reported having a tempestuous argument
with her husband. Both parties desired not to pursue the matter
further and Deputy Sheriff Mankins determined no threat or
act of domestic violence occurred.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Christopher Lee Goss, age 20, 836 Pike Street
Apt. 4, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Goss was arrested at the Double L in Marietta
by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 May 05 at
12:50 am.
Shannon Kathleen Weber, age 21, 1130 Miner Street, Mayfield,
OH, for .17 breath OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes
of travel, both misdemeanors. Weber was arrested on Acme Street
in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 5 May 05 at 2:30 am.
Patrick Edward Gladfelter, age 23, 429 Clover Road, Etters,
PA, for OVI and for failure to signal, both misdemeanors. Gladfelter
was arrested on Butler Street in Marietta by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 5 May 05 at 3:00 am.
