On 2 May 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic dispute at 18001 State Route 676,
Marietta. Upon arriving Deputy Evans spoke to Gretchen Mace,
age 19, who stated her brother Jason, age 21, was awakened
by their mother and sister arguing. Becoming irate, Mr. Mace
began screaming at his mother then lunged toward her as if
to strike her. When Ms. Mace intervened Mr. Mace further angered
and pounced at her, only to be tackled to the floor by another
brother. As Ms. Mace and her mother absconded Mr. Mace went
on a rampage, leaving the kitchen in shambles. In consequence
to his investigation and due to a medical condition exhibited
by Mr. Mace at the time of his arrival Deputy Evans requested
a summons for Mr. Mace for two counts of domestic violence.
On 2 May 05 Terrence Roddy, age 26, 783 Warrior
Drive, Barlow, reported since parking his Honda Civic at his
home a month ago, an unknown suspect scratched the passenger
side door. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 2 May 05 an employee of Moore’s Paving,
1077 Gravel Bank Road, Marietta, reported at some time over
the weekend an unknown suspect broke the wing window of one
of the company’s semi-trucks and stole the CB radio along
with two antennas. This case remains under investigation (200).
On 2 May 05 an employee of Hilltop Auto Wrecking,
975 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, reported around 2:30 that afternoon
he observed a male inside the fenced property taking car parts
without permission and pushing the parts through the fence
to two males on the other side. This case remains under investigation
(586).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Frank Antwon Henry, age 24, 7620 Decker Avenue,
Cleveland, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for
speeding, both misdemeanors. Henry was arrested on Interstate
77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 May 05 at 8:20 am.
Roger L. Wingrove, age 48, Pike Street, Parkersburg,
for resisting arrest and for criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors.
Wingrove was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Morris of the
Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 May 05 at 5:30 pm.
