On 27 Apr 05 Sally A. Lerch, age 33, 401 Lewis
Pointe Drive, Vincent, reported between Monday and Wednesday
afternoon, a ten foot Raven utility trailer was stolen from
a lot she and her husband own on Moody Ridge Road. This case
remains under investigation (1183).
On 27 Apr 05 Harold B. Daugherty, age 42,
2720 Beach Drive Apt. 3, Belpre, reported between 9 and 11
that night an unknown suspect dumped a granular substance,
believed to be sugar, in the gas tank of his Honda ATV. This
case remains under investigation (232).
On 27 Apr 05 Michelle Kiefer-Erb, age 29,
11534 State Route 821, Lower Salem, reported during the previous
evening an unknown suspect(s) stole a Gameboy Advance along
with six games from her vehicle and a book of CD’s from
her neighbor’s vehicle. This case remains under investigation
(500).
On 27 Apr 05 Gary W. Hughey Jr., age 27, 130
Warner Second Street, Little Hocking, reported between 1 am
and 4:30 am that morning his wife’s 1997 Ford Mustang
was stolen from their driveway. This case remains under investigation
(1184).

Ben Joshua Johnson, age 21, 119 Hart Street
Apt. 10, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Johnson
was arrested at KFC in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Apr 05 at 3:05 am.
Sean David Grimm, age 18, 782 Fifth Street, New Martinsville,
WV, for receiving stolen property, felony. Grimm was arrested
on Ohio Street in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 27 Apr 05 at 5:00 am.
Kenneth M. Hurlburt III, age 18, 118 Second Street, Paden
City, WV, for receiving stolen property, felony. Hurlburt was
arrested on Ohio Street in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 05 at 5:00 am.
John Michael Miller, age 43, 404 Montgomery
Street, Marietta, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Miller
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Heddleston of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Apr 05 at 11:00 am.
Mark Christopher Arborgast, age 43, 746 Maple Avenue, New
Martinsville, for OVI, for driving outside the marked lanes
of travel and for driving under an FRA suspended license, all
misdemeanors. Arborgast was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Apr 05 at 11:45 pm.
