On 25 Apr 05 Opal M. Eddy age 63, 35785 State
Route 7, Newport, reported two of her checks were stolen, forged
for $200 and $40 and cashed on 11 and 14 Apr 05, respectively.
This case remains under investigation (1091).
On 25 Apr 05 Mary Gaskins, age 54, 1080 Muskingum
River Road, Marietta, reported between 10 and 25 Apr 05, an
unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered a storage building on her
property and stole twenty assorted shovels and rakes, metal
scraps and metal roofing flashing. This case remains under
investigation (945).
On 25 Apr 05 Deputy Sheriff Norman issued
a citation to Stephanie F. Poole, age 24, 775 Fourth Street,
New Martinsville, WV, for traveling 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Deputy Norman stopped Ms. Poole on State Route 7 near milepost
43.5 in Grandview Township.
On 25 Apr 05 Teresa L. Ott, age 26, 430 Rummer
Road, Marietta, reported the change in her vehicle and that
of her husband was stolen during the overnight hours. This
case remains under investigation (200).
On 25 Apr 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans responded
to the scene of a domestic dispute reported by Courtney Flesher,
age 20, 4625 Burnett Ridge Road, Vincent. Ms. Flesher stated
during an argument her live-in boyfriend Adam T. Anderson,
age 21, threw a ceramic pepper shaker at her, narrowly missing.
Mr. Anderson then put Ms. Flesher in a headlock and tossed
her over his shoulder onto the floor. Due to Mr. Anderson’s
actions Deputy Evans arrested him for domestic violence and
transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 25 Apr 05 Ronnie Foraker, age 51, 1577
State Route 339, Belpre, reported while he was away from his
home that day an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the residence
through the rear door of his garage and stole a sum of cash
from his bedroom dresser drawer. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
On 25 Apr 05 Karl Seman, age 41, 840 Muskingum
River Road, Marietta, reported after viewing his checking account
balance online, he discerned several of his checks were stolen
from his home, forged and cashed at some point during the past
fifteen days. This case remains under investigation (945).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Pamela Carpenter, age 45, 164 Wells Avenue,
Marietta, for failure to confine or restrain a dangerous dog
on 1 Mar 05.
Jesse L. Fisher, age 19, 2537 S 13th Street, Ironton, OH,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $266.50.
Jennifer R. Hartshorn, age 22, Southgate Trailer Park Lot
40, Reno, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $39.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Colt Christopher Wynn, age 19, 1902 Rocky
Point Road, Fleming, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Wynn was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court
by Probation Officer Ketelsen and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 25 Apr 05 at 3:10 am.
Fannie Sarah Kovacs, age 24, 735 Eighth Street Apt. 1, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Kovacs
was arrested at the County Courthouse by Probation Officer
Smith and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr
05 at 2:31 pm.
Adam Tandy Anderson, age 21, 4625 Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested
at the Sheriff’s Office’s Barlow Outpost by Deputy
Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 25 Apr 05 at 9:26 pm.
