On 15 Apr 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Sara E. Maxwell, age 18, 16670 Annie Lane, Burton,
OH, for traveling 79 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped
Ms. Maxwell on State Route 7 near Ayers Boulevard in Dunham
Township.
On 15 Apr 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans stopped
a vehicle for traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone on State Route
7 near Joe Skinner Road. In speaking with the driver, Julie
L. Coe, age 45, 1110 Moody Ridge Road, Vincent, Deputy Evans
noticed an odor of alcohol and requested Ms. Coe perform field
sobriety tests. Following her poor performance on the tests
Deputy Evans arrested Ms. Coe for OVI as well as for speeding
and transported her to the Washington County Jail. A search
of her personal effects yielded a bag of marijuana, resulting
in an additional charge of possession of drugs.

Office received the following warrants:
Andrew B. Tucker, age 21, Southgate 2 Lot
8, Reno, for contempt for failing to appear to appear to serve
twelve days in jail on 31 Mar 05.
Jackie Fargo, age 34, 8 St. Stanislaus Street,
NY Mills, NY, for failing to appear for a hearing on 11 Apr
05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Alexander Scott Duvall, age 35, 255 Veto Circle,
Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Duvall was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 05 at 12:10 am.
Daniel Edward Christopher, age 29, 975 Mount Tom Road, Marietta,
for menacing by stalking, a felony. Christopher was arrested
on Mount Tom Road by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 05 at 8:00 am.
James Nemo Lee Croston, age 27, 300 Buckeye
Ridge Road, Chesterhill, for violating the terms of a protection
order, a misdemeanor. Croston was arrested at the Washington
County Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Hall and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 05 at 10:10 am.
David Allen Funk, age 23, 205 Bedford Street, Ravenswood,
WV, for driving under a suspended license, for speeding and
for not wearing a seat belt. Funk was arrested on State Route
339 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 05 at 11:00 am.
Brandon Marc Robinson, age 21, 355 Brackenridge Road, Vincent,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Robinson
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gilchrist and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Apr 05 at 11:20
am.
Victor Irafred Wells, age 20, 804 Eighth Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by fighting, for underage consumption
of alcohol and for two counts of breach of recognizance. Wells
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Hearn of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 15 Apr 05 at 5:50 pm.
