On 13 Apr 05 an employee of the Ohio Department
of Transportation reported while he was working along State
Route 339 in Beverly a week ago, he witnessed an unknown male
throwing one or tires over the road bank. This case remains
under investigation (695).
On 13 Apr 05 Pamela Binegar, age 39, 320 Hendricks Street, Newport, reported while she was at Frontier High School between 5 and 7 that evening an unknown suspect(s) broke the window of her vehicle and stole her purse and its contents from inside. This case remains under investigation (500).
On 13 Apr 05 Stephanie Stark, age 41, 933 Greene Street, Marietta, reported when she met her former boyfriend to see her daughter, her former boyfriend allegedly slapped her. Following an investigation Deputy Sheriff Norman determined no threat or act of domestic violence occurred.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Sara Lynn Sampson, age 22, 1602 Elizabeth
Pike, Mineral Wells, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Sampson was arrested on Clement Avenue in Belpre
by Patrolman Smeeks of the Belpre City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Apr 05 at 2:30
am.
Johnny Ray Sanders, age 32, 629 Phillips Street,
Marietta, a fugitive from justice, a felony. Sanders was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Apr 05 at 11:30 am.
Jeremy Lee Place, age 25, 497 Earl Place Road, Cutler, for
violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Place was arrested
at the Adult Probation Office by Corrections Officer Farrell
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Apr 05
at 4:00 pm.
James Everett Lowers, age 58, 385 East Branch Road, Lowell,
for failure to confine or restrain his dog, a misdemeanor.
Lowers was arrested in Belpre by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Apr 05 at 10:30 pm.
