On 12 Apr 05, responding to a report of domestic violence, Sgt. Underwood met the victim Melisa K. Williams, age 25, 2810 Beach Drive, Belpre, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. Ms. Williams stated when she rebuffed the sexual advances of her live-in boyfriend Robert C. Cook, age 41, and informed him she was leaving him, he flew into a fit of rage. Mr. Cook threw her against the wall and choked her before shoving her into the bathtub. Unable to locate and arrest Mr. Cook, Sgt. Spoke with him via phone and arranged to meet him at the Washington County Jail. Sgt. Underwood also learned as Mr. Cook drove himself to the jail, he was driving under an FRA suspended license. Charged with domestic violence and driving under a suspended license, Mr. Cook was then booked into the Washington County Jail.
On 12 Apr 05 a member of the Barlow Fair Board reported at some point since Saturday morning an unknown suspect(s) threw a rock through a double pane glass window on the dining hall of the fairgrounds located at State Route 339 and State Route 550 in Barlow. This case remains under investigation (1183).

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Charles Schlicher, age 25, 737 Cherokee
Drive, Lancaster, OH, for obstructing official business and
for resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Schlicher was arrested
on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 12 Apr 05 at 4:55 am.
Jennifer Lynn Southall, age 29, 9243 Muskingum
River Road, Marietta, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor.
Southall was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Norman
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 05
at 6:38 pm.
Douglas Eugene Brookover, age 50, 623 Front Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Brookover was arrested at his residence
by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 05
at 7:48 pm.
