On 6 Apr 05 Lillian Hile, age 58, 2005 Windy
Ridge Road, Vincent, reported since the end of March an unknown
suspect entered her home without permission and stole a collectible
coin set. This case remains under investigation (698).
On 6 Apr 05 Jacqueline S. Crites, age 50,
560 Eyermann Road, Belpre, reported a neighbor with whom
her family has on ongoing feud allegedly stopped her vehicle
in
front of and exited her vehicle onto the Crites’ property
before fulminating against the family. This incident remains
under investigation (695).
On 6 Apr 05 while on patrol on State Route
7 near County Road 51, Deputy Sheriff Malone observed a male
walking along the road carrying a gas can. When questioned,
Robert M. Parrish, age 28, 207 Aurora Street Apt. C, Marietta,
stated the Jeep he was driving ran out of gas. Through a check
of the vehicle’s registration Deputy Malone determined
the vehicle was in fact, stolen. Mr. Parrish commented he borrowed
the vehicle from an acquaintance and forgot to return it, a
fact disputed by the vehicle’s owner who did not know
Mr. Parrish. As a result, Deputy Malone arrested Mr. Parrish
for receiving stolen property and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Kelly L. Budzik, age 39, PO Box 624, Beverly,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $71.50.
David T. Close, age 34, 403 Lord Street, Marietta,
for fleeing and eluding from a police officer and for
driving under an FRA suspended license on 18 Feb 05 and for
two charges of breach of recognizance for failing to appear
for pretrial on the aforementioned charges on 1 Apr 05.
Timothy A. Hall, age 33, 17941 State Route 550, Marietta,
for violating the terms of a protection order on 25 Sep 04,
for breach of recognizance for failing to appear for pretrial
on 1 Apr 05 and for contempt for failing to appear for arraignment
on 4 Apr 05, having been indicted on a charge of domestic violence.
James K. Laird, age 43, 1410 ½ Hocking Road, Belpre,
for contempt for failing to appear for arraignment on 1 Apr
05, having been indicted on a charge of theft.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Linda Elizabeth Lasure, age 22, 33257 State
Route 800, Fly, OH, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Lasure was arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy
Sheriff Tornes and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 6 Apr 05 at 3:00 pm.
Angelo Tullio Rossi, age 18, 611 Warren Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Rossi
was arrested at the Courthouse by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Apr 05 at
4:45 pm.
