On 4 Apr 05 a Warren High School Student reported
an after market OBX muffler was stolen off his 1995 Ford Escort
while he attended class that day. This incident remains under
investigation (586).
On 4 Apr 05 Deputy Sheriff Eddy investigated
a two vehicle collision at 2414 Highland Ridge Road in Lowell.
Stopped to turn into the driveway of 2414, Rhonda J. Wittekind,
age 51, 231 South Eighth Street, Marietta, was struck from
behind by a Ford Escort driven by Robert B. Russell, age 36,
3275 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell. As a result, Deputy Eddy
issued Mr. Russell a citation for failure to maintain an assured
clear distance and for operating a vehicle without proof of
financial responsibility. The crash resulted in moderate damage
to both vehicles, no injuries were reported.
On 4 Apr 05 Christi D. Washington, age 40,
45 Suzanne Street, Little Hocking, reported seeing, between
a quarter till and quarter past two that afternoon, an unknown
male wearing a tan colored hat lurked around her home, feigning
a search for his dog. This incident remains under investigation
(232).

Pamela Carpenter, age 45, 164 Wells Avenue,
Marietta, for the telephone harassment of a Lowell resident
19 Feb 05.
Fred A. Kille, age 24, 1601 Starr Avenue,
Toledo, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $403.
James E. Shrader, age 38, 519 Washington Avenue,
Princeton, WV, for contempt for failing to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $84.50.
Nathan E. Valmore, age 33, 8112 Township Road
43, De Graff, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $162.50.
Jason Whittaker, age 27, 22781 State Route
60, Beverly, for contempt for failing to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $45.50.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Mark Allen Wilkes, age 42, 1310 16th Street,
Vienna, for driving under a suspended license and for failure
to appear, both misdemeanors. Wilkes was arrested on US 50
in Belpre by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 05 at
12:55 am.
Christopher J. Starcher, age 21, 1310 Roselawn
Avenue, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Starcher
was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Clevenger
of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 05 at 10:25 am.
Russell Everett Coy, age 36, 1831 McNeal Road, Waterford,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Coy
was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer
Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4
Apr 05 at 10:30 am.
Gary Wayne Harbison, age 37, 214 13th Street, Parkersburg,
for breach of recognizance and for disorderly conduct by intoxication,
both misdemeanors. Harbison was arrested on Highland Ridge
Road by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr
05 at 7:10 pm.
Joseph Hai Bui, age 26, 2246 Marlane Drive, Columbus, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Bui was
arrested on Highland Ridge Road by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Apr 05 at 8:15 pm.
