On 2 Apr 05 Deana Knapp, age 50, 28 Knapp
Road, Fleming, reported an acquaintance of hers, Lyndall C.
Sargent, age 44, 1542 Grove Street, Hampton, VA, was creating
a commotion at her residence, intoxicated and holding a pocket
knife to his wrist. Mr. Sargent admitted being intoxicated
but denied threatening himself with the knife. Based on his
investigation, Deputy Sheriff Stackpole arrested Mr. Sargent
for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported him
to the Washington County Jail.
On 2 Apr 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans responded
to a report of three individuals passed out in a running vehicle
in the parking lot of the Edgewater Tavern, 860 Muskingum River
Road, Marietta. Waking the person behind the wheel, Deputy
Evans immediately detected alcohol on Russel E. Coy, age 36,
1382 McNeal Road, Waterford. Following Mr. Coy’s poor
performance on field sobriety tests and his admission of consuming
alcohol, Deputy Evans arrested him for OVI and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
On 2 Apr 05 Glen O. Williams, age 29, 480
Harriett Street, Macksburg, reported between midnight and 8
am that morning a Honda 100R motorcycle was stolen from a storage
shed on his property. This case remains under investigation
(200, 1291).
On 2 Apr 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic dispute involving a seventeen year
old and her mother at a residence on Lang Farm Road, Marietta.
The mother stated after two arguments concerning her daughter’s
two year old son, her daughter kicked her in the stomach. Generally
uncooperative, the daughter was removed from the residence
to stay with her aunt pending delinquency charges in Juvenile
Court.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Lyndall Chris Sargent, age 44, 1542 Grove
Street, Hampton, VA, for disorderly conduct by intoxication,
a misdemeanor. Sargent was arrested on Knapp Road by Lt. Wilson
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 05 at 4:00 am.
Russell Everett Coy, age 36, 1831 McNeal Road, Waterford,
for OVI and for driving under an OVI suspended license. Coy
was arrested on Township Road 32 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 05 at 8:26
am.
Dan Landers Tewkesbury, age 42, 315 Muskingum Drive, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by fighting, a misdemeanor. Tewkesbury
was arrested on State Route 60 by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Apr 05 at 12:17 pm.
