On 31 Mar 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks responded
to the scene of the death of an eighty year old Marietta resident.
The death appears to be due to natural causes, no foul play
is suspected.
On 31 Mar 05 Larry K. Miskimins, age 42, 639
McDonald Road, Waterford, reported between 5 pm Wednesday and
11 am Thursday, a Polaris 300 Express ATV and a Polaris Scrambler
ATV were stolen from near his porch. This case remains under
investigation (200).
On 31 Mar 05 an employee of Frontier Local
Schools reported at some point during the last week, an unknown
suspect(s) broke the front grill of a school bus parked in
the parking lot of Newport Elementary School. This case remains
under investigation (296).
On 31 Mar 05 a representative of the Girl
Scouts of America reported an unknown suspect(s) broke into
the lodge of the Girl Scout camp at 940 Falls Run Road in Cutler,
removed two fire extinguishers then used the fire extinguishers
to bash in the door of a storage building at the camp. No items
appear to be missing, this case remains under investigation
(200).
On 31 Mar 05 Deputy Sheriff Randy Stackpole
issued a citation to a seventeen year old Waterford resident
for traveling 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Stackpole stopped
the juvenile on State Route 339 near the Northlake Addition
in Dunham Township.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Barbara L. Bellville, age 39, 56042 Dilles
Bottom, Shadyside, OH, for violating the terms of her probation
by failing to show proof of completing forty hours of community
service and for failing to remain in contact with the probation
department as ordered by the court.
Justin Cline, age 18, 184 Dawes Circle, Marietta, for the
theft of property valued under $500 on 4 Jan 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Marc Anthony Crockett, age 25, 2997 Pleasant
Ridge Road, Marietta, for a felony charge of violating the
terms of his parole and misdemeanor charges of driving under
an OVI suspended license and for speeding. Crockett was arrested
at the Seventh Street Speedway by Probation Officer Gault and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Mar 05 at 1:10
am.
Stanley Jon Hockenberry, age 51, Marietta, for OVI and for
driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors.
Hockenberry was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 31 Mar 05 at 1:25 am.
Michelle Elaine George, age 35, Route 2 Box
228A, Walker, WV, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. George
was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer
Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31
Mar 05 at 11:55 am.
Donald Monroe Anderson, age 29, 1127 Lynn Street, Parkersburg,
for domestic violence, a felony. Anderson was arrested at the
Belpre City Police Department by Patrolman Williams and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 31 Mar 05 at 3:00 pm.
Jason Ross Poling, age 22, 2317 Broad Street, Parkersburg,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Poling
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Perry and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 31 Mar 05 at 5:25 pm.
