On 30 Mar 05 Detective Brian Kapple issued
a citation to Nicholas W. Winland, age 21, 309 Muskingum Drive,
Marietta, for operating a motorcycle without a valid motorcycle
endorsement. Detective Kapple stopped Mr. Winland on the 500
block of Fourth Street in Marietta.
On 30 Mar 05 while on routine patrol, Deputy
Sheriff Brian Rhodes stopped at the intersection of Falls Run
and Burnett Road and found a plastic bin containing miscellaneous
boxes of ammunition. This case remains under investigation.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jennifer Irene Wilson, age 31, 2471 Hickman
Road, Waterford, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a
misdemeanor. Wilson was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 05
at 12:10 am.
Jesse Scott Books, age 22, 909 Phillips Street, Marietta,
for a felony charge of attempted theft and for misdemeanor
charges of theft and attempted theft. Books was arrested on
Washington Street in Marietta by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Mar 05 at 5:04 am.
Kenneth Royden Sparks, age 27, 313 Harmar
Street, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Sparks was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 05 at 10:00 am.
Ronald Dean Welch Jr., age 35, 845 County House Lane, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Welch was arrested on County House Lane
by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Mar 05 at 11:45 am.
Warren Stephen Lee Tucker, age 23, 845 County House Lane,
Marietta, for burglary, a felony. Tucker was arrested at his
residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 05 at 3:50 pm.
Steven Thomas Hupp, age 34, 108 Seneca Drive, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hupp was
picked up at the Clermont County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 05
at 6:30 pm.
