On 24 Mar 05 Kevin L. Biehl, age 46, 124 Brandy
Drive, Marietta, reported subsequent to receiving a letter
from a collection agency in the mail, he learned his personal
information was used to accrue a $477.90 phone bill in Detroit,
MI. This case remains under investigation (200).
On 24 Mar 05 Deputy Sheriff Eddy responded
to the scene of a domestic dispute at 761 Mount Tom Road, Marietta.
Initially, only a verbal dispute occurred between Mary Francis,
age 42, and her live-in boyfriend Richard Bay, age 37, during
which time no threats or acts of violence transpired. Leaving
the scene and stationary at the end of the residence’s
driveway, Ms. Francis and a friend contacted Deputy Eddy moments
later, stating Mr. Bay pushed down Ms. Francis causing her
to suffer severe back pain. Stoically, Mr. Bay mouthed obscenities,
grabbed a beer and sat down in a chair. Based on his investigation,
Deputy Eddy arrested Mr. Bay for felony domestic violence and
transported him to the Washington County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Seth T. Adams, age 20, 8471 Germantown Road,
Lower Salem, for contempt for failing to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $357.50.
Mary A. Haught, age 48, County House Lane, Marietta, for contempt
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $118.95.
William L. Rowan, age 42, 5109 State Route 555, Little Hocking,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $312.
Stephen C. Vansickle, age 49, 41 Lexington Park, Vienna, for
contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines in the sum of $634.40.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Dustin Chase Reed, age 29, 312 Broad Street,
Macksburg, for OVI, for driving under an FRA suspended license
and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, all misdemeanors.
Reed was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24
Mar 05 at 1:10 am.
Randy Duane Smith, age 37, 87 Wildwood Drive, Parkersburg,
for .17 breath OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes
of travel, both misdemeanors. Smith was arrested on State Route
7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 24 Mar 05 at 3:30 am.
Kurt Matthew Lauer, age 44, 18069 State Route
339, Dexter City, for a felony charge of and a misdemeanor
charge of violating the terms of his probation. Lauer was picked
up in Monroe County by Corrections Officer Carr and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 05 at 11:25 am.
Zanetta Dawn Shields, age 39, 610 Main Street, Waterford,
for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Shields was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 05 at 4:00 pm.
Richard Dyle Bay, age 37, 301 Oakwood Avenue, Marietta, for
domestic violence, a felony. Bay was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Mar 05 at 7:45 pm.
Martin Dean Welch Jr., age 33, 1384 Morris Ferry Road, Selma,
AL, for felony charges of failure to appear, theft and burglary
as well as two misdemeanor charges of failure to appear. Welch
was picked up in Selma, AL, by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Mar 05 at 8:00
pm.
