On 21 Mar 05 while working as the School Resource
Officer at Warren High School, a sixteen year old student reported
to Lt. Coppernoll her car key was stolen off her key ring and
apparently used to enter her vehicle, where the perpetrator
discovered and took the cash proceeds of her weekly paycheck.
This case remains under investigation.
On 21 Mar 05 George H. Klintworth, age 65,
2640 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, reported at some point since
4 Nov 04, a twelve foot aluminum skiff boat was stolen from
his cabin on Township Road 32 across from Arrowhead Golf Course.
This case remains under investigation (292).
On 21 Mar 05 a Little Hocking resident reported
he has not seen or heard from his sixteen year old son since
the juvenile left for school Friday. Citing a history of similar
behavior, Deputy Sheriff Malone requested a summons for the
juvenile to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly.

Nicholas D. Brooks, age 22, 115 Main Street,
Vincent, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $175.50.
Rusty L. Davis, age 31, 316 Swan Creek Road, Crown City, OH,
for driving under an FRA suspended license on 16 Dec 04.
Tyrone A. Frye, age 20, Route 7 Box 12, Marietta, for contempt
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $81.90.
Terry L. Harris, age 21, 1015 17 ½ Street, Parkersburg,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $500.50.
Holly S. Lockhart, age 23, State Route 7 South Gate Lot 2,
Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $117.
Dorothy L. McElfresh-Metz, age 34, 1535 Braun Road, Belpre,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $45.50
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Eric Eugene Nims, age 30, 1415 150th Avenue,
Lost Nation, IA, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Nims was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hearn of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 21 Mar 05 at 1:20 am.
Kyle James Sheldon, age 21, 1320 Maplewood Court, Dewitt,
IA, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Sheldon
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hearn of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 21 Mar 05 at 1:20 am.
Michael David Murray, age 22, 133 NW Street Apt. C6, Norwalk,
OH, for being a repeat traffic offender, for not wearing a
seat belt, for speeding and for failure to appear, all misdemeanors.
Murray was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21
Mar 05 at 1:35 am.
John Junior Paulk, age 33, 26561 Rock Street, Coolville, for
a felony charge of being a fugitive from justice and a misdemeanor
charge of contempt. Paulk was arrested on Farson Street in
Belpre by Patrolman Garvey of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Mar 05
at 4:35 am.
Kyle David Bailey, age 18, 48750 Horse Cave
Road, Racine, OH, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony.
Bailey was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 21 Mar 05 at 10:55 am.
James Joseph O’Connell, age 47, 105 Gilman Avenue, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. O’Connell
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Mar 05 at 12:30
pm.
