On 14 Mar 05 Donna J. Hutchinson, age 65,
980 Salster Road, Fleming, struck a deer as she drove eastbound
on Benedict Road near Warren Chapel Road in Warren Township.
Ms. Hutchinson’s vehicle sustained only nonfunctional
damage, no injuries were reported (292).
On 14 Mar 05 Evette M. Hardie, age 27, 761
Buckeye Avenue, Marietta, reported her ex-boyfriend allegedly
took her vehicle without permission. Contacting the estranged
boyfriend, Sgt. Hiatt learned he moved the vehicle to a friend’s
residence in Monroe County.
On 14 Mar 04 Ron Kittle, age 46, 2716 Beach
Drive, Belpre, between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning
the rear license plate, number DAZ 5837, was stolen off his
1984 Ford truck. This case remains under investigation (945).
On 14 Mar 05 the owner of the Redbird Carryout,
4443 State Route 339, Belpre, reported since being away from
his business in September of 2004 due to a medical condition,
unknown suspects forced entry into the business and stole everything
inside. This case remains under investigation (945, 501).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Benjamin R. Coffman, age 28, 345 Hoover Road,
Vincent, for failing to appear to serve five days in jail on
11 Mar 05.
Joseph H. Bui, age 26, 4091 Rolls Royce Drive Apt. F, Columbus,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to maintain
contact with the probation department, for failing to show
proof of restitution and for failing to pay fines and court
costs as ordered by the court.
James K. Laird, age 43, 1410 ½ Hocking Road, Belpre,
for failing to appear in court for a scheduled hearing on 24
Nov 04.
Michael L. Leibrand, age 41, 2914 Washington Boulevard, Belpre,
for failing to appear for a probation violation hearing on
9 Mar 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Melissa Ann Toby, age 37, 19640 State Route
550, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI, a misdemeanor. Toby was
arrested at the Cliffside Carryout by Deputy Sheriff Evans
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 05
at 1:15 am.
Robert Gregory Price, age 32, 515 Main Street,
Caldwell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Price was arrested near the
Noble County line by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Mar 05 at 2:35 pm.
Paulina Sue Thomas, age 39, 5 Putnam Place, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct and assault, both misdemeanors. Thomas was
arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Warden
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 05 at 11:10 pm.
