On 13 Mar 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans initiated
a traffic stop on Farson Street in Belpre after observing the
vehicle he was following swerve left of the centerline while
traveling twelve mph in a thirty-five mph zone. Interviewing
the driver, Deputy Evans noticed Felicia R. Massey, age 47,
1127 Farson Street, Belpre, had bloodshot eyes and an odor
of alcohol. Succeeding her poor performance on field sobriety
tests, Deputy Evans arrested Ms. Massey for OVI and for driving
left of center and transported her to the Washington County
Jail.
On 13 Mar 05 a sixty-nine year old Marietta
resident reported for the last week she has been receiving
hang up phone calls during early morning hours. This case remains
under investigation (292).
On 13 Mar 05 Seth J. Mastrodomenico, age 19,
520 Mitchell Avenue, Beverly, reported at some point during
the past twenty-four hours, his 1989 Cadillac Seville was stolen.
This case remains under investigation (292).
On 13 Mar 05 a seventeen year old Waterford
resident reported discovering that morning, two windows of
his vehicle were broken and two amplifiers stolen from inside.
This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 13 Mar 05 while en route to a trespassing
complaint, Deputy Sheriff Evans learned the suspect left in
a white Oldsmobile. Deputy Evans observed the vehicle moments
later turning into the parking lot of the Cliffside Carryout.
Identifying the driver by her social security number as Melissa
A. Toby, age 37, 19640 State Route 550, Marietta, Deputy Evans
noticed an odor of alcohol. Mrs. Toby admitted consuming a
number of drinks earlier in the evening and performed poorly
on subsequent field sobriety tests. In consequence Deputy Evans
arrested Mrs. Toby for OVI and transported her to the Washington
County Jail.
On 13 Mar 05 Jill Flinn, age 30, 2205 Murray
Street, Belpre, reported an acquaintance with a gun threatened
her. When questioned further, Ms. Flinn gave varying details
of the incident and abruptly changed moods leading Sgt. Hiatt
and Deputy Sheriff Stackpole to conclude she was under the
influence of alcohol and/or drugs and the incident did not
occur.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Felicia Rene Massey, age 47, 1127 Farson Street,
Belpre, for .08 breath OVI and for driving left of center,
both misdemeanors.
Massey was arrested at the Reno Motel by Deputy Sheriff Evans
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Mar 05
at 4:59 am.
Ronald Lee Stevens, age 35, 11443 State Route 550, Athens,
for driving under a suspended license and for passing on a
double yellow line, both misdemeanors. Stevens was arrested
on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Mar 05 at 4:07 pm.
Peter Joseph Giliberti, age 19, 103B Parsons Hall, Marietta,
for breach of recognizance, for underage consumption of alcohol,
for criminal damaging, for obstructing official business and
for resisting arrest, all misdemeanors. Giliberti was arrested
on Putnam Street in Marietta by Officer Moon of the Marietta
College Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Mar 05 at 6:00 pm.
