On 11 Mar 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle he was following fail to use its turn signal when turning from Whipple Run Road onto Kohl Road. Speaking with the driver, Curtis J. Bonnette, age 31, 1347 Goose Run Road, Marietta, Deputy Evans noticed an odor of alcohol as well as Mr. Bonnette’s bloodshot eyes and slow, lethargic speech. Based on those observations along with his poor performance on field sobriety tests, Deputy Evans arrested Mr. Bonnette for OVI and for not using a turn signal and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 11 Mar 05 Deputy Sheriffs Gherke and Parks were dispatched to 2205 Murray Road, Belpre, in response to a domestic dispute. Jill Flinn, age 30, stated her former live-in boyfriend Tony Hendrickson, age 35, 124 Walnut Street, Belpre, came to her residence in a state of intoxication and when she attempted to leave her residence, Mr. Hendrickson struck her in the head and pulled her arms behind her back, breaking a fingernail and scratching her hand. Mr. Hendrickson fled prior to the arrival of Deputies but was located at his mother’s home, arrested for felony domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Matthew Kevin Burke, age 33, 1416 Hocking Road, Belpre, for attempted aggravated arson, a felony. Burke was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 05 at 1:55 am.

Dewayne Deron Wright, age 18, 2504 Praire Street, Detroit, MI, for operating with an expired license and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Wright was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 05 at 8:45 am.

James Robert Busch, age 24, 1400 21st Street, Vienna, for a felony charge of theft and misdemeanor charges of breach of recognizance, failure to appear and violating the terms of his probation. Busch turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 05 at 12:15 pm.

Douglas Nathan Martin, age 47, 1002 Washington Boulevard Apt. 1, Belpre, for falsification, a misdemeanor. Martin was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 05 at 3:45 pm.

Brenda Kay Roberts, age 41, 418 Avery Street Apt. 301, Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a felony. Roberts was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail in Charleston by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 05 at 4:10 pm.

Curtis Justin Bonnette, age 31, 1347 Goose Run Road, Marietta, for OVI and for failure to signal, both misdemeanors. Bonnette was arrested in Fearing Township by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 05 at 11:30 pm.
