On 9 Mar 05 a forty-four year old Beverly resident reported his ex-wife’s live-in boyfriend may have assaulted his ten year old son during an argument over the child’s math homework. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 9 Mar 05 Miranda D. Derby, age 20, 100 Simpson Street, Marietta, reported receiving four harassing phone calls that day from a former friend who is forbidden by a civil protection order to call the residence. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 9 Mar 05 Greg Duty, age 28, 150 Camelot Road, Belpre, reported when he returned from his twelve hour shift at work at 8 am that morning, he discovered an unknown suspect broke a window to enter his home and stole the title to his 1995 Chevy Cavalier. This case remains under investigation (586).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrant:

Willis V. Thompson, age 28, 26930 State Route 7, Marietta, for contempt of a court order for failing to appear to serve twenty-one days in jail on several occasions.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jessica Ann Malone, age 23, 40 Hazlewood Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Malone was arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 05 at 1:30 am.

Jerry Melvin Key, age 43, PO Box 857, Webster Springs, WV, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Key was arrested on Felter Road by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 05 at 11:25 am.
