On 8 Mar 05 Deputy Sheriff Simmons responded
to the scene of a custody dispute between a mother and daughter
on Bells Run Road in Newport. The two parties reached an amicable
agreement and will meet with Children’s Services to determine
future arrangements.
On 8 Mar 05 an employee of the Station Carryout,
595 Blue Knob Road, Belpre, reported receiving a bad check
for $14.68 from a customer on 21 Dec 03 and three bad checks
totaling $148.89 from another customer on 10 Mar 04. This case
remains under investigation (8411).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Michael D. Blind, age 26, 1985 Main Street
Apt. 443B, Stockport, for contempt for failing to appear at
a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $894.40.
Chelsea M. Chapman, age 19, 2260 Par Lane Apt. 514, Willoughby,
OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $682.59.
Danny Ward, age 54, 311 Maple Street, Marietta, for contempt
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $330.20.
Ronda Blevins, age 30, 124 Ewing Street, Lancaster, OH, for
contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on
an order to show cause on 28 Feb 05.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Steven Leroy Jones, age 46, 18012 Hiller Avenue,
Cleveland, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Jones was picked up in Cleveland by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Mar 05 at
4:19 pm.
Jessie Ray Deberry, age 23, 59 Meadowview Drive, Parkersburg,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation
and a misdemeanor charge of driving under an FRA suspended
license. Deberry was arrested on Main Street in Belpre by Patrolman
Williams of the Belpre City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Mar 05 at 9:00 pm.
Keri Ann Lafatch, age 26, 1944 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Lafatch was arrested at her residence by Sgt.
Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Mar 05 at 9:56
pm.
