On 28 Feb 05 Deputy Sheriff Spencer issued
a citation to Mark E. Husk, age 50, 1762 Barnett Ridge Road,
Belpre, for operating with an expired driver’s license.
Deputy Spencer stopped Mr. Husk on Dugan Road near Oxbow Road
after observing Mr. Husk travel left of the centerline.
On 28 Feb 05 the father of a sixteen year
old Lowell resident reported his sixteen year old daughter,
without permission, left their residence with a friend and
has yet to return home. This case remains under investigation
(292, 597).
On 28 Feb 05 Deputy Sheriff Norman was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic dispute transpiring in the vicinity
of River City Tire on Pike Street in Marietta. Monica Young,
age 22, 125 Millers Lane Apt. B5, Marietta, state she and her
husband Ian, age 25, were arguing inside their vehicle and
when she removed the keys from the ignition, Mr. Young responded
by grabbing her and hitting her head against the steering wheel.
Escaping the clutches of her husband, Ms. Young began walking
toward River City Tire but was quickly tackled from behind.
Mr. Young continued to kick and punch his wife, fumbling for
and finding the keys in her pocket. Mr. Young left after being
confronted by two Samaritans but returned moments later, threatening
with a knife and a wooden board. Succeeding a short skirmish
in which one bystander received a blow with the board, Mr.
Young was tackled to the ground to await the arrival of authorities.
In consequence to his investigation Deputy Norman arrested
Mr. Young for domestic violence and transported him to the
Washington County Jail.
On 28 Feb 05 Martha K. Dawson, age 32, Route
1 Box 6C, Mineral Wells, reported after she and eleven other
women paid for a trip to a church conference, they arrived
at the airport to discover their travel agent never purchased
the tickets. This case remains under investigation (232).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Calvin Lane Gibson, age 20, 614 32nd Street,
Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license and for
parking with expired registration, both misdemeanors. Gibson
was arrested on Farson Street in Belpre by Patrolman Morris
of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into
the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 05 at 1:30 am.
Andrew Alan Huck, age 27, 936 Fifth Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Huck was arrested at Huck’s Auto Body by Probation Officer
Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28
Feb 05 at 9:50 am.
Randal Lee Schwendeman, age 45, 184 Cats Creek
Road, Lowell, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Schwendeman
turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Norman and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 05 at 10:15 am.
Ian Maxwell Young, age 25, 125 Millers Lane
Apt. B5, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Young
was arrested at River City Tire by Deputy Sheriff Norman and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 05 at 3:45
pm.
Marc Anthony Crockett, age 25, 2997 Pleasant
Ridge Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole,
a felony. Crockett was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 28 Feb 05 at 6:25 pm.
Jonas Wyatt Miller, age 22, 207 Aurora Street,
Marietta, for burglary and for safecracking, both felonies.
Miller was arrested at Rivercrest Apartments by Detective Sirianni
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 05 at 10:15 pm.
Jerry Melvin Key, age 43, Grubb Road, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Key turned himself in
to Patrolman Huffman at the Marietta City Police Department
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb
05 at 11:15 pm.
