On 27 Feb 05 Tom Zaleha, age 52, 1235 Back Road, Macksburg, reported between 21 and 25 Feb a Stevens double barreled shotgun was stolen from inside a shed near his home. This case remains under investigation (945).

On 27 Feb 05 Doris L. Peele, age 63, 20375 State Route 550, Marietta, reported when she performed a monthly check of her absent sister' s home at 451 Muskingum River Road, Marietta, she discovered a garage window open and doors leading into the home unlocked and open. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 27 Feb 05 Christina P. Winans, age 32, 95 County Road 9, Marietta, reported her twenty-six year old live-in boyfriend left their residence at 11:30 am that morning and he has yet to return home. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 27 Feb 05 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes responded to the scene of a domestic dispute at 184 Cats Creek Road, Lowell. Penny L. Harriman, age 36, informed Deputy Rhodes that her live-in boyfriend Randal L. Schwendemam, age 45, initiated an argument because he was angry that she went out to a bar Friday evening. As the fracas continued, Mr. Schwendeman berated Ms. Harriman and threw several household items at her, including a remote control and a phone book. Escaping the aerial barrage into her daughter' s room, Ms. Harriman phoned the authorities as Mr. Schwendeman hastily left the residence. Based on his investigation, Deputy Rhodes requested a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Schwendeman for domestic violence.

On 27 Feb 05 Susan L. Vanfossen, age 45, 2722 Beach Drive, Belpre, reported within the past six weeks a license plate was stolen from inside the cab of her truck. This case remains under investigation (292, 597).

On 27 Feb 05 Alisha Kilmer, age 34, 121 Kentucky Avenue, Marietta, reported while engaging in an argument with her estranged husband he allegedly pushed her out of her chair. Following an investigation, Deputy Sheriff Parks concluded no threats or act of domestic violence occurred (292, 597).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Donna Marie Parsons, age 43, 1385 Hayesville Road, Waterford, for .08 breath OVI and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Parsons was arrested in Waterford by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Feb 05 at 1:54 am.

Gregory Lane Guinn, age 49, 4835 Madison Run Road, Stockport, for .08 breath OVI and for failure to signal, both misdemeanors. Guinn was arrested in Waterford by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Feb 05 at 2:24 am.

John Ivan Lacy, age 53, 235 Lake Road, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Lacy was arrested on Muskingum Drive in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Feb 05 at 10:45 am.

Todd Wayne Wells, age 36, 2441 Dalzell Road, Whipple, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Wells was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Feb 05 at 12:45 pm.

John Lewis Snider, age 32, State Route 339, Belpre, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer, for operating without a license, for reckless operation and for having fictitious plates, all misdemeanors. Snider was arrested on State Route 339 by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Feb 05 at 10:30 pm.
