On 25 Feb 05 Corrections Officer Carr received a report from an inmate that another inmate had forced open a locked cabinet and also damaged two ceramic floor tiles in the shower. As a result of further investigation, C/O Carr requested a summons for John A. Givens, age 24, 100 Linwood Avenue, Marietta, for criminal damaging.

On 25 Feb 05 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes initiated a traffic stop on Greene Street near Seventh Street in Marietta after observing the vehicle he was following failed to use his turn signal on several lane changes. Detecting an odor of alcohol on the driver, Frederic A. Humphrey, age 54, 148 Rauch Drive, Marietta, Deputy Rhodes administered field sobriety tests, on which Mr. Humphrey performed poorly. In consequence, Deputy Rhodes arrested Mr. Humphrey for OVI and for failure to signal and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrantS:

Kurt M. Lauer, age 44, 18069 State Route 339, Dexter City, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment and for failing to appear to serve sixty days in jail on 12 Feb 05.

James R. Busch, age 24, 1005 Pike Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to pay or show proof of paying restitution as ordered by the court.

Victor A. Carver, age 26, 1812 Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license on 30 Dec 04.

James E. Wolford, age 26, 1580 State Route 140, Oak Hill, for driving under a suspended license on 28 Dec 03.

Michael J. Cremeans, age 31, 41791 Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 14 Feb 05.

Randall W. Delancey, age 40, 171 North Wilson Road Apt. 19, Columbus, contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 4 Feb 05.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Frederick Adaira Humphrey, age 54, 148 Rauch Drive, Marietta, for OVI and for failure to signal, both misdemeanors. Humphrey was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Feb 05 at 1:15 am.

Martin Lendell McClain, age 44, 929 Byron Street, Weirton, WV, for OVI, for speeding, for driving under suspension and for possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. McClain was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Feb 05 at 2:40 am.

Matthew Allen Burner, age 30, 2315 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, for OVI, for failure to control and for possession of drugs, all misdemeanors. Burner was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Feb 05 at 12:55 pm.

Dale Robert Wiggins, age 23, 216 Fifth Street, Lowell, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Wiggins was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Feb 05 at 3:20 pm.

Margaret Ann Rummer, age 45, 191 Rummer Street, Lowell, for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors. Rummer was arrested on Dunbarger Road by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Feb 05 at 11:00 pm.
