On 23 Feb 05 Matthew J. Nonnemacher, age 18, 50 Schneider Drive, Whipple, reported between 20 Feb and 23 Feb, a floor safe and its contents were stolen from the bedroom of the residence he shares with his grandparents. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 23 Feb 05 an employee of Hasty Shopper, 4756 State Route 60, Marietta, reported when she arrived at work at 5:30 that morning and noticed the store’s ATM was not working, she observed the phone lines to the building were cut. The employee believes the lines were cut at some point since 10:30 the previous evening. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 23 Feb 05 a sixteen year old Warren High School student reported she believes an acquaintance stole her cellular phone while at school that day. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 23 Feb 05 Lt. Wilson responded to a report at the Washington County Courthouse of an intoxicated male wandering about aimlessly. When questioned, Gary L. Jackson Jr, age 23, 231 Hillcrest Drive Apt. D, Marietta, had trouble standing and following directions but was able to elaborate that he had been drinking all night long, evident by the open forty ounce beer he had concealed under his shirt. As a result, Lt. Wilson arrested Mr. Jackson for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for having an open container and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Daniel River Dawes, age 28, 424 Bellevue Street, Marietta, for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Dawes was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 05 at 4:00 am.

Gary Lee Jackson Jr, age 23, 231 Hillcrest Drive Apt. D, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, for having an open container, for receiving stolen property and for criminal trespassing, all misdemeanors. Jackson was arrested at the County Courthouse by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 05 at 11:25 am.

Dana Britton Curry, age 32, 114 Elmwood Avenue, Marietta, for a felony charge of forgery and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Curry was arrested on Putnam Street in Marietta by Detective Seevers of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 05 at 2:15 pm.

Christina Rose Hines, age 34, 914 Warren Street, Marietta, for theft and for domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Hines was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 05 at 4:10 pm.
