On 19 Feb 05 an employee of Smith Concrete,
1680 State Route 618, Belpre, reported at some point during
the previous night, an unknown suspect(s) broke the windows
of ten cement trucks and stole fire extinguishers from inside
several trucks. This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 19 Feb 05 Richard G. Thomas, age 51, 145
Greenbrier Circle, Marietta, came to the Sheriff’s Office
to report being assaulted by his live-in girlfriend Amy Davis,
age 30. Mr. Thomas stated Ms. Davis came home while he was
sleeping and threw a tantrum, demanding one of his Xanax pills
and throwing household items around, striking him in the forehead
with a painting. After she exited the residence, Mr. Thomas
also witnessed Ms. Davis puncture two tires on his 2000 Ford
Mustang. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Stackpole located and
arrested Ms. Davis for domestic violence and criminal damaging
and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jessica Lynn McKitrick, age 27, 152 Dawes
Circle, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a
misdemeanor. McKitrick was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Feb
05 at 2:15 am.
John Woodrow Morehead, age 47, Route 1 Box 77CA, Williamstown,
for carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor. Morehead as
arrested on Interstate 77 by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta
City Police Department and was processed into the Washington
County Jail on 19 Feb 05 at 5:35 am.
James Ellis Hill, age 52, 122 Oak Lane, Marietta, for OVI,
for speeding and for driving under an OVI suspended license,
all misdemeanors. Hill was arrested on Gilman Avenue in Marietta
by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 19 Feb 05 at 12:15 pm.
Amy Lynn Davis, age 30, 145 Greenbrier Circle, Marietta, for
domestic violence and for criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.
Davis was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Feb 05
at 4:00 pm.
Glenn Craig Martin, age 45, 1007 Orchard Street Apt. 7, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a felony. Martin was arrested at his
residence by Patrolman Hupp of the Marietta City Police Department
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Feb
05 at 11:25 pm.
