On 10 Feb 05 Alonna M. Farley, age 27, 103 Chateau Hills, Parkersburg, reported when she appeared at her former boyfriend's residence in Reno to pick up her daughter's forgotten belongings, her ex-boyfriend allegedly threw her to the ground, hit her and spit in her face.  However, further investigation by Sgt. Hiatt concluded Ms. Farley was the aggressor, in that she forced her way into the apartment, grabbed her ex-boyfriend in the crotch and would not leave when asked.  Hence this case is closed as unfounded. 

On 10 Feb 05 an employee of Washington County observed a suspicious individual wandering about the cell block of the old jail on the first floor of the Courthouse.  When questioned by Deputy Sheriffs Summers and Willson, Gary L. Jackson, age 22, 231 Hillcrest Drive, Marietta, answered evasively, was escorted out of the building and ordered not to return.  Five minutes later Mr. Jackson reentered the Courthouse, was arrested for criminal trespassing and transported to the Washington County Jail. 

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Michael J. Dye, age 30, 4660 Huck Road, Lowell, for failing to appear to serve two days in jail on 23 Dec 04.

Ken A. Lafatch, age 26, 1944 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $435.50.

Robert T. Lanese, age 19, 4510 Fruitland Drive, Parma, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $409.50.

Scotty L. Myles, age 21, 906 Brookway West Drive, Lewisville, NC, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $561.60.

Thomas S. Rutter, age 41, 1790 Masonic Park Road Lot 3, Marietta, for passing a bad check for $350 on 1 Nov 04.

Michael S. Thomas, age 34, 4101 Archwood Apt. 1, Cleveland, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $305.50.

Paul E. Whitmore, age 25, 36 Putnam Place Apartments, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $45.50.

Randall C. Wilson, age 47, 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $280.15.

Dana B. Curry, age 32, 114 Elmwood Avenue, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear for arraignment on 7 Feb 05, having been indicted for forgery.

Martin D. Welch Jr., age 33, 2484 State Route 266, Stockport, for contempt for failure to appear for arraignment on 7 Feb 05, having been indicted on two counts of theft.

Timothy E. Antill, age 23, 402 Jefferson Square, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license or to appear to serve five days in jail on 27 Dec 04.

David R. Burwell, age 46, 1607 Hill Street Apt. 2, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to maintain contact with his probation officer and for failing to attend and/or complete counseling as ordered by the court.

Billy E. Moore, age 43, 1003 West Main Street Apt. 2, Ravenna, OH, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to pay off his fines in full by 2 Feb 05.

Brian Moore, age 31, 211 Garfield Avenue, Gallipolis, for criminal damaging on 8 Jan 05.

Scott R. Reedy II, age 21, 811 ½ Swan Street, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appeared for a scheduled appointment on 10 Jan 05.

Sara L. Sampson, age 22, Route 4 Box 168, Mineral Wells, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to show proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license or to appear to serve three days in jail on 11 Jan 05.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Rodney Gerald Beyers, age 58, 1075 Ruth Street Apt. 306, Prescott, AZ, for two felony counts of theft. Beyers was picked up at the Yavapai County Jail in Prescott by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 05 at 12:15 am.

Stacy Renee Thompson, age 24, 357 West Fair Avenue, Lancaster, OH, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested at Speedway on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 05 at 1:30 am.

Neil Ross Seibel, age 21, 12858 State Route 676 Apt. A, Waterford, for .17 breath OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors. Seibel was arrested on Gilman Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 05 at 2:00 am.

Gary Lee Jackson Jr., age 22, 300 Phillips Street, Marietta, for aggravated trespassing, a misdemeanor. Jackson was arrested at the Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Willson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Feb 05 at 9:00 am.
