On 17 Jan 05 Mary J. Murphy, age 54, 1098 Long Run Road, Newport, reported when she returned to her residence the previous evening she observed a neighbor, who has been ordered repeatedly to stay off her property, walking along her driveway. This case remains under investigation (174).

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Wendell Eugene Beckett, age 28, Marietta , for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Beckett was arrested in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Sears and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Jan 05 at 3:25 pm .
