On 11 Jan 05 Travis C. Westfall, age 28, 28415
State Route 7, Marietta, reported an acquaintance, who was
informed on previous occasions to stay off his personal and
business properties, appeared at his home to criticize him
for leaving his dog outside in the rain. This case remains
under investigation (232).
On 11 Jan 05 Dale L. Offenberger, age 23, 590 Offenberger Road, Whipple, reported
while on his way home from work he saw an abandoned truck that appeared to have
been burnt in a neighbor’s field. A check of the truck’s vehicle
identification number concluded the truck was stolen from a Marietta resident
in the days preceding its abandonment. The truck was then towed and impounded
at the request of the Marietta City Police Department (1184).
On 11 Jan 05 a sixteen year old Vincent resident
reported the 1800 watt Audio Blitz amplifier was stolen from
inside his truck between last Friday night and Monday morning.
This case remains under investigation (592).
On 11 Jan 05 Patrick R. Slider, age 40, 625 Tower Road, Little Hocking, reported
over the past several years an unknown suspect has continuously disposed of semi-truck
tires over a hill in a wooded area along Tower Road. This case remains under
investigation (1184).
On 11 Jan 05 a teacher at Warren High School reported between the fifth and sixth
of January thirty-three checks, an Old Navy credit card and two hundred dollars
were stolen from her classroom. This case remains under investigation (592).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Bruce Jenkins, age 48, 9277 Rush Lane, Chesterhill,
for failing to appear for a court ordered hearing on 5 Jan
05 on an indictment pending for theft.
Brenda K. Roberts, age 41, 1701 Avery Street, Parkersburg,
for failing to appear for a court ordered hearing on 5 Jan
05 on an indictment pending for theft.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Lucky Patterson, age 22, 424 Third
Street Apt. 3, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting,
a misdemeanor. Patterson was arrested on Third Street by Patrolman
Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jan 05 at 1:15 am.
