On 9 Jan 05 Deputy Sheriffs Norman and Evans
were dispatched to the Beverly Police Department to meet with
Joshua Campbell, age 19, 5057 Buchanan Road, Waterford, who
was receiving treatment for injuries suffered as a result of
a domestic dispute with his former girlfriend Rachael B. Martin,
age 20, 601 Mitchell Avenue Apt. H, Beverly. Following a dispute
at Ms. Martin’s residence concerning the custody of their
son, Mr. Campbell stated Ms. Martin hit him in the head a number
of times with a candlestick. Then as he turned to leave he
was struck in the back of the head with a glass object, later
identified as an angel figurine. Determining Mr. Campbell was
in fear for his safety, Deputy Norman arrested Ms. Martin for
domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County
Jail.
On 9 Jan 05 Michael Metts, age 52, 433 Strecker
Lane, Marietta, reported being disturbed by a male cursing
and yelling at his daughter, demanding to see his ex-girlfriend
who was a guest at the residence. The suspect, Timothy E. Neill,
age 20, 137 Oakwood Avenue, Marietta, ignored repeated orders
to leave the premises and as a result was issued a summons
to appear in court for criminal trespassing.
On 9 Jan 05 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrested Aaron C. Goins, age 33, Route 1 Box
146, Amesville, for violating the terms of a protection. The arrest came shortly
after the protected party, Barbara Jackson, age 36, 1340 Patten Mills Road, Cutler,
reported being involved in an argument with Mr. Goins at her residence.
On 9 Jan 05 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with
inoperable taillights on State Route 550 near Roberts Road in Bartlett. A computer
check returned the driver Amber Best, age 25, 17566 State Route 555, Bartlett,
had a suspended license and was the protected party under a protection order
against Christopher S. Hill, age 33, 857 Southland Cemetery Road, Cutler, who
was a passenger in the vehicle. Deputy Rhodes issued a citation to Ms. Best for
the appropriate offenses, arrested Mr. Hill for violating the terms of a protection
order and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 9 Jan 05 Deputy Sheriff Malone responded to the scene of the death of a thirty-five
year old Marietta resident. The death does not appear suspicious however the
case remains under investigation.

Brian Joseph Isner, age 18, 507 Chamberlain
Drive, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor.
Isner was arrested on Glendale Road by Deputy Sheriff Evans
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at
12:50 am.
Angelo Tullio Rossi, age 18, 611 Warren Street, Marietta,
for underage consumption of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia
and for violating the terms of his probation, all misdemeanors.
Rossi was arrested on Glendale Road by Deputy Sheriff Evans
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at
1:35 am.
Robert Joseph Perry, age 35, 3010 Cats Creek Road, Lowell,
for felony charges of violating the terms of his probation
and aggravated burglary and a misdemeanor charge of criminal
mischief. Perry was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital
by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at 3:00 am.
Andrew Michael Russell, age 19, Marietta, for breach of recognizance
and theft, both misdemeanors. Russell was arrested at Warren’s
IGA by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at
3:20 am.
Christian Adam Preston, age 23, 728 Third Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Preston was arrested on Third Street
by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at 5:20
am.
Rachael Bernice Martin, age 20, 601 Mitchell Avenue, Beverly,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Martin was arrested at
her residence by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at 6:15 am.
Christopher Shawn Hill, age 33, 857 Southland Cemetery Road,
Cutler, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Hill was arrested in Bartlett by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at 8:00
pm.
Brian Lee Miller, age 39, 105 Franklin Street, Marietta, for
burglary, a felony. Miller was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 05 at 10:00 pm.
