On 29 Dec 04 Celena A. Hardie, age 24, 2665
Millfork Road, Marietta, reported to Deputy Sheriff Willson
that she was assaulted by her live-in boyfriend Robert E. Carpenter,
age 30, as the two traveled home from the Locker Room , northbound
on State Route 26. Ensuing an argument in the vehicle, Mr.
Carpenter backhanded Ms. Hardie in the left eye causing a contusion.
After several brief stops, during one of which Mr. Carpenter
exited the vehicle and kicked the windshield, Ms. Hardie escaped
to a random house where she phoned a friend for assistance.
Repeated attempts to locate Mr. Carpenter failed, hence Deputy
Willson requested a warrant for Mr. Carpenter for felony domestic
violence for having been convicted o the same offense in October
of 2000.
On 29 Dec 04 Michelle R. Gillenwalters, age
39, 27486 State Route 7, Marietta, reported two acquaintances
were on her property at 705 Caywood road after being asked
in October not to trespass on her property. This case remains
under investigation (200).
On 29 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes responded to the
scene of a domestic altercation at 1247 Sealy Ridge Road in
Vincent. Amanda L. Blind, age 21, advised Deputy Rhodes that
her boyfriend Timothy S. Mackey, age 24, instigated a fight
by smacking her in the back of the head and continued to harass
and assault her as she did her laundry. Ms. Blind further stated
she was in fear for safety due to threats Mr. Mackey made toward
her and her parents. As a result of his investigation, Deputy
Rhodes arrested Mr. Mackey for domestic violence and transported
him to the Washington County Jail where he was given the option
to post bond.

Office received the following warrants:
Aaron C. Goins, age 33, 205 North Eureka Avenue,
Columbus, for violating a temporary protection order on 26
Dec 04.
Argle F. Mayle, age 44, 1206 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, for
violating a temporary protection order on 25 Nov 04.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Gabriel Uppole, age 28, 144 New Hope
Circle, Carthage, NC, for a felony charge of carrying a concealed
weapon and misdemeanor charges of OVI, speeding and possession
of drugs. Uppole was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Dec 04 at 3:00 am.
Jeffrey Lee Ingram, age 25, 709 Third Street
Apt. 1, Belpre, for two felony counts of theft and two felony
counts of burglary. Ingram was picked up at the North Central
Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 04 at 11:00 am.
Tyler Nathaniel Bailey, age 23, 1210 Colonial Drive, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation and for breach of
recognizance, both misdemeanors. Bailey turned himself in to
Corrections Officer Carr and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Dec 04 at 12:25 pm.
Timothy Scott Mackey, age 24, 1247 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Mackey was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 04 at 1:30 pm.
Kurt Matthew Lauer, age 44, 157 Andover Road, Woodsfield,
for two felony charges of gross sexual imposition. Lauer was
arrested at Wal-Mart in Marietta by Patrolman Hearn of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Dec 04 at 8:19 pm.
