On 27 Dec 04 Merlin L. Vanderhoof, age 63,
14603 Garfield Road, Waterman, OH, reported at some point
since the first of this month, an unknown suspect(s) forcibly
entered
his camping trailer on Baker Run Road in Marietta, left the
interior in disarray and stole his son’s twenty-two caliber
rifle along with four boxes of ordnance. This case remains
under investigation (1184).
On 27 Dec 04 Randy E. Johnson, age 25, 397
Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, reported earlier that morning a
family member would not return his four and five year old daughters,
of whom he has temporary custody. This case remains under investigation
(792).
On 27 Dec 04 an employee of R & R Rebuilders,
105 River Lane, Marietta, reported between 24 and 27 Dec, an
unknown suspect(s) pried open the rear door of the business
and stole a large sum of cash from several locations inside.
This case remains under investigation (597).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Chad Robert Parsons, age 24, 11 Goose Run
Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Parsons was arrested at the Washington County
Courthouse by Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 27 Dec 04 at 10:25 am.
Monica Dawn Westfall, age 25, 410 Summit Drive, Marietta,
for failure to reinstate her operator’s license and for
failure to use a child restraint, both misdemeanors. Westfall
was arrested at her residence by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Dec 04
at 8:20 pm.
Sam Zedic McClead, age 24, 69 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, a
fugitive from justice, a felony. McClead was arrested at his
residence by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Dec 04 at 9:20 pm.
Tracy Jo Barnes, age 25, 1265 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras,
for three counts of failure to appear and for operating without
a license, all misdemeanors. Barnes was arrested on Leith Run
Road by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27
Dec 04 at 11:05 pm.
