Archive of 12-24-04

On 24 Dec 04 Gary L. Smith, age 59, 1215 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, reported since last visiting his storage property at 1000 State Route 260 on 29 Nov, four antique, quarter-scale Model T cars from an amusement ride along with sections of track and a power converter were stolen. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 24 Dec 04 Larry V. Coe, age 66, 1220 Brackenridge Road, Vincent, reported sometime during the past week, five hundred dollars in hundred and fifty dollar denominations was stolen from his home. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 24 Dec 04 Julie A. White, age 29, 2420 Federal Road, Little Hocking, reported unbeknownst to her, her driver’s license number has been used on several occasions to write bad checks. This case remains under investigation (200).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Terry Lee Harris, age 21, 1015 17 ½ Street, Parkersburg, for disorderly conduct and for obstructing official business, both misdemeanors. Harris was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Knowlton of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 04 at 12:01 am.

Kevin Fredrick Hunter, age 28, 612 Pike Street, Sistersville, WV, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Hunter was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Knowlton of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 04 at 12:01 am.

Larry Dale Harris, age 21, 107 Bridge Street, St. Marys, for a felony charge of assault on a peace officer and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Harris was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 04 at 1:00 am.

William Brad Carpenter, age 33, 246 Fifth Street Apt. H, Byesville, OH, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested near mile post four Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 04 at 7:20 am.
