On 20 Dec 04 Maureen Hayes, age 61, 841 Greene Street, Newport, reported shortly after Thanksgiving she discovered refuse hidden under a pile of brush on her property. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 20 Dec 04 Deputy Sheriff Gherke responded to the scene of the death of a forty-one year old Newport resident. Though the death appears to have resulted from a vehicle falling on the victim while he was underneath, this case remains under investigation.

Ronald L. Wolfe, age 33, 1133 Market Street Apt. 303, Parkersburg, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $468.

Natalie S. Weckbacher, age 21, 13480 State Route 60, Lowell, for three counts of failure to appear for Drug Court on 15 Dec 04.

Lawrence S. Brydie, age 71, 27 Anne Street, Pomeroy, for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $130.

Nicole M. Reed, age 27, 25 Watertown Road, Watertown, for domestic violence on 27 Oct 04.

Tyler N. Bailey, age 23, 1210 Cisler Drive, Marietta, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear in court on a probation violation.

Terry J. Wells, age 18, 707 Fourth Street, New Matamoras, for criminal damaging on 28 Oct 04.

Dennis R. Oakley, age 24, 424 Third Street Apt. 4, Marietta, for two counts of breach of recognizance for failing to appear for arraignment on 17 Nov 04.

James R. Busch, age 23, 26935 State Route 7, Marietta, for failure to appear for a jury trial on 15 Dec 04.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Clint Roger Poling Jr., age 22, 72 Bacheto Avenue, Akron, OH, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Poling was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Dec 04 at 10:20 am.

Andrew Steven Young, age 50, 57811 Deep Run Road Apt. 2, Martins Ferry, OH, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Young was arrested in Juvenile Court by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Dec 04 at 10:45 am.

Allen Gene Williams, age 31, 413 Virginia Street, Marietta, for aggravated burglary, a felony. Williams was arrested at Influent Telemarketing by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Dec 04 at 2:30 pm.

Dorthea Marie Anderson, age 24, 760 Greene Street, Marietta for felonious assault and a misdemeanor charge of aggravated menacing. Anderson was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Dec 04 at 6:25 pm.
