On 12 Dec 04 Detective Sirianni assisted the
Beverly Police Department in processing a crime scene at the
site of a burglary on Lakeview Drive in Beverly. While no items
were missing from the home, the Beverly Police Department will
continue the investigation.
On 12 Dec 04 Samuel W. Clark, age 21, 817
Masonic Park Road Lot 14, reported he sustained a laceration
during an altercation with an acquaintance at his residence.
After being treated by the Devola Volunteer Fire Department
Mr. Clark desired not to pursue the matter further (500).
On 12 Dec 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans initiated
a traffic stop on State Route 821 near Arends Ridge Road after
observing the vehicle he was following travel to the right
of the white fog line on several occasions. Deputy Evans noticed
an odor of alcohol on the driver Rodney G. Montgomery, age
28, PO Box 85 State Route 821, Lower Salem, and requested he
perform field sobriety tests. Subsequent to poor performance
on the field sobriety tests, Deputy Evans arrested Mr. Montgomery
for OVI and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Colt Christopher Wynn, age 19, 1902 Rocky
Point Road, Fleming, for violating the terms of his probation
and for domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Wynn was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Gherke and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 04 at 12:45 am.
Leroy Gerald Best, age 22, 306 Putnam Avenue, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Best was
arrested at his residence by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 12 Dec 04 at 2:35 am.
Mark Randolf Maynard, age 38, 45 Spears Hill Road, Stockport,
for driving under an FRA suspended license and for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both
misdemeanors. Maynard was arrested on Third Street in Marietta
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 12 Dec 04 at 2:50 am.
Rodney Gene Montgomery, age 28, 11190 State Route 821, Lower
Salem, for .17 breath OVI and for driving outside the marked
lanes of travel, both misdemeanors. Montgomery was arrested
on State Route 821 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 04 at 3:15 am.
Larry Eugene Sparks, age 48, 314 Harmar Street, Marietta,
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Sparks was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 04 at 7:25 pm.
