On 9 Dec 04 Linda Copus, age 39, 14850 County
Road 20, Caldwell, reported her tri-fold wallet and its contents
were stolen from atop her locker while she worked at Heartland
of Marietta between 10:45 pm on 8 Dec and 1:15 am on 9 Dec.
This case remains under investigation (296).
On 9 Dec 04 Danny W. Thompson II, age 33,
220 Newell’s Run Road, Newport, reported an acquaintance
appeared on his porch, began making threats and attempting
to instigate a fight before fleeing the scene. This case remains
under investigation (792).
On 9 Dec 04 John Shively, age 57, 2809 Beach
Drive, Belpre, reported at some time during the past three
weeks an unknown suspect(s) damaged his newly detailed 1978
Corvette. This case remains under investigation (586).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Tyler N. Bailey, age 23, 1210 Cisler Drive,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to appear for a scheduled meeting on 2 Dec 04.
Troy S. Wittekind, age 36, Route 1 Box 140E, County Road 126,
Fleming, for driving under an FRA suspended license on 8 Dec
04.
Jeffrey C. Davis, age 28, 1245 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras,
for contempt of a court order for contempt of a court order
for failure to pay child support.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
William Alfred McGrew, age 64, 105 Leland
Avenue, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a
misdemeanor. McGrew was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital
by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Dec 04 at
3:40 am.
Christopher Lee Goss, age 20, 833 Second Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Goss
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Dec 04 at 4:55 am.
Lagarbia Johnson, age 28, 330 Limestone Place,
Union City, GA, for felony charges of possession of drugs,
tampering with evidence and for five counts of trafficking
in drugs as well as a misdemeanor charge of falsification.
Johnson was picked up in Beaver, WV by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Dec 04 at
3:20 pm.
Jeffrey Clair Davis, age 28, 1245 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested at
the Washington County Courthouse by Lt. Canavan of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Dec 04 at 5:10 pm.
Aaron Freeman Farnsworth, age 19, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his parole, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hupp of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Dec 04 at 5:45 pm.
Jeffrey William Hunn, age 18, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for breach of recognizance and for contempt of a court order,
both misdemeanors. Hunn was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Hupp of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 9 Dec 04 at 5:45 pm.
David Timothy Close, age 34, 403 Lord Street, Marietta, for
driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Close was
arrested near the intersection of State Route 339 and Warrior
Drive by Detective Jenkins of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Dec
04 at 7:10 pm.
Thomas Joseph Cline, age 29, 216 St Mary’s Lake Road,
Battle Creek, MI, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Cline was picked up in Green River, UT by Deputy
Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Dec 04 at 9:20 pm.
