On 30 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriff Malone responded
to the scene of a possible domestic violence incident at the
request of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department. An investigation
by Deputy Malone concluded no act of domestic violence occurred.
On 30 Nov 04 an employee of Par Mar #14, 66
Arrowhead Drive, Little Hocking, reported witnessing a customer
thieve a package of Bugler Tobacco. Terry L. Hayes, age 50,114
Devol Drive, Marietta, entered the store to pay for a gasoline
purchase, discretely placed one package of tobacco in his pocket
and paid for another. An employee outside observed Mr. Hayes
from an outside window and detained him until Sgt. Underwood
arrived. When questioned, Mr. Hayes admitted stealing the tobacco
and that he drove to the store without a valid operator’s
license. Resultantly, Sgt. Underwood arrested Mr. Hayes for
theft and for failure to reinstate his operator’s license
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
James B. Janes, age 53, 201 Fifth Street,
Lowell, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to appear for a scheduled meeting on 20 Oct 04.
James P. Moats, age 29, 265 Tyrone Avery Road, Morgantown,
WV, for failing to appear to serve the first three days of
a thirty day sentence on 14 Nov 04.
Jimmy J. Carpenter, age 44, 836 Pike Street
Apt. 23, Marietta, for littering on 28 Oct 04.
David W. Evans, age 28, an inmate at the Noble County Correctional
Facility, for failure to appear for a hearing on 24 Nov 04
upon indictment on receiving stolen property.
Brian L. Hendershot, age 20, Williamson Avenue Lot A, New
Matamoras, for possessing a firearm in a motor vehicle and
for underage consumption of alcohol on 23 Oct 04.
Georgeios C. Pardos, age 38, 280 Rome Hilliard Drive, Columbus,
for failure to appear for a hearing on 24 Nov 04 upon indictment
on passing bad checks.
Rhonda K. Sergeon, age 35, 32 West Penn Avenue, Wernersville,
PA, for failure to appear for a hearing on 24 Nov 04 upon indictment
on three counts of theft by deception.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Max Lee Wagner, age 56, 2600 Fairview Avenue,
Parkersburg, for .17 breath OVI and for failure to control,
both misdemeanors. Wagner was arrested in Belpre by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Nov 04 at 2:10 pm.
Terrence Lee Hayes, age 50,114 Devol Drive,
Marietta, for theft and for failure to reinstate his operator’s
license, both misdemeanors. Hayes was arrested in Little Hocking
by
Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Nov 04
at 2:45 pm.
Curt E. Hendershot, age 33, 2030 Armstrong Ridge Road, New
Matamoras, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Hendershot
was arrested on State Route 50 by Lt. Wilson of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Nov 04 at 3:10 pm.
Robert Terri Farmar, age 48, 1334 Spring Street, Parkersburg,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Farmar was arrested on
State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Nov 04 at 9:05 pm.
Steven Eugene McCabe, age 45, 108 Schilling Drive, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. McCabe turned
himself in to Parole Officer Linscott and was processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Nov 04 at 11:15 pm.
