On 24 Nov 04 Ronald L. Nelson, age 62, Route 1 Box 74A, reported discovering an abandoned Dodge Neon on his property. Through a computer check of the vehicle’s identification number, Detective Sirianni determined the vehicle was stolen from a location in the state of Delaware. This case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jason Eugene Barnes, age 28, 108 Seventh Street Apt. A, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for aggravated menacing, both misdemeanors. Barnes was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 04 at 4:30 pm.

Joshua Don Martin, age 24, 3860 State Route 676, Stockport, for operating with an expired license, for not wearing a seat belt, OVI, for driving under a suspended license, for failure to control and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors. Martin was arrested at his residence by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 04 at 5:25 pm.
