On 22 Nov 04 the son of Alberta M. Coffman,
age 85, 150 Browns Road Ste. B6, Marietta, reported between
22 Oct and 9 Nov 04, his mother’s Visa card was stolen
from her room at the Inn at Marietta. This case remains under
investigation (945).
On 22 Nov 04 a thirty-seven year old Marietta
resident reported having difficulty disciplining his fifteen
year old son. The father articulated his son performs poorly
in school, leaves the home without permission and continuously
fights with his family. In consequence, Deputy Sheriff Simmons
requested a summons for the juvenile to appear in Juvenile
Court for being unruly.
On 22 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriffs Evans and Norman
responded to a report of domestic violence at the home of Stacey
Lowery, age 22, and her husband Daniel E. Christopher, age
28, at 481 Mount Tom Road, Marietta. Recounting the incident,
Ms. Lowery enumerated her husband became angry as she spoke
on the phone with her sister and repeatedly blocked her from
leaving the home. On several occasions Mr. Christopher dragged
her away from the door into the bedroom where he forced her
to the bed and threatened to tie her up and gag her if she
did not quit screaming. Determining Ms. Lowery was in fear
for her safety, Deputy Norman arrested Mr. Christopher for
domestic violence and unlawful restraint and transported him
to the Washington County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Krystal M. Lincoln, age 40, 729 Ninth Street,
Marietta, for failing to appear to serve two days in jail on
8 Nov and on 15 Nov 04.
Howard D. Starlin, age 31, 3065 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell,
for failing to appear to serve three days in jail on 5 Nov
04.
Kevin P. Miller, age 32, last known address 820 East Eighth
Street, Marietta, upon indictment on kidnapping and abduction.
Jack R. Wheeler Jr., age 45, 2810 Frame Drive, Burbank, OH,
upon indictment on aggravated vehicular homicide and for aggravated
vehicular assault.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shawn Blaine Beaver, age 20, 1124 Parr Hill
Road, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Beaver was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff
Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on
22 Nov 04 at 2:43 am.
Thomas Nelson Blake, age 42, 404 Front Street,
Marietta, for menacing, a misdemeanor. Blake was arrested in
Marietta by
Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 04 at 3:10
am.
Daniel Edward Christopher, age 28, 841 Mount
Tom Road, Marietta, for domestic violence and for unlawful
restraint, both misdemeanors. Christopher was arrested on Mount
Tom Road by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Nov 04 at 5:40 pm.
James Thomas Statler, age 27, 325 Clark Street,
Belmont, WV, for OVI and for failure to control, both misdemeanors.
Statler
was arrested on Matthew Street in Marietta by Patrolman Hilverding
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 04 at 10:14 pm.
