On 21 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Sandhill Road and Holiday Drive after observing a vehicle travel to the left of the centerline. When questioned, the driver Dalton E. Ferrell III, age 29, 1595 Browns Road, Marietta, admitted consuming three drinks and performed poorly on subsequent field sobriety tests. In consequence Deputy Rhodes arrested Mr. Ferrell for OVI and for driving left of center and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 21 Nov 04 James M. Boyce, age 53, 213 Pontius Street, Lower Salem, reported between last Thursday afternoon and Sunday morning an unknown suspect(s) cut off the padlock of his semi trailer parked at the Pit Stop on State Route 821 and removed approximately twenty tires. This case remains under investigation (684).

On 21 Nov 04 an employee of Gasel Trucking, 741 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the business and stole four Snap-On toolboxes valued at over $17,000. This case remains under investigation (1203).

On 21 Nov 04, after reviewing her phone bill for September, Lorena L. Bond, age 48, 400 High Street, Macksburg, reported while she was away from her residence on 8 Sep 04 an unknown suspect entered her home and amassed a four hundred dollar phone bill. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 21 Nov 04 Nyla Carver, age 63, 27335 State Route 7 North Lot 42, Marietta, reported an acquaintance may have stolen over $1,100 in jewelry from her residence between 14 and 16 Nov 04. This case remains under investigation (1184).

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dalton Eugene Ferrell, age 29, 1595 Browns Road, Marietta, for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Ferrell was arrested in Reno by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 04 at 4:15 am.
