On 14 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriff McLeish issued
citations to Heidi R. Meyers, age 40, 4013 County Nine Road,
Marietta, and Drew A. Wagner, age 25, 1665 Hackney Road, Beverly,
for failing to stop at a stop sign. Deputy McLeish stopped
Ms. Meyers and Mr. Wagner in a half hour interval at the intersection
of County Roads 9 and 10 in Marietta Township.
On 14 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Samantha M. Wilmot, age 18, 177 Williamsburg Drive,
Avon Lake, OH, for traveling 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy
Evans stopped Ms. Wilmot near mile post thirteen on State Route
7 in Dunham Township.
On 14 Nov 04 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Melinda D. Adelson, age 22, 806 Franklin Avenue, Belpre,
for driving under a suspended license. Lt. Wilson made contact
with Ms. Adelson on Sandhill Road while investigating another
matter in Marietta Township.
On 14 Nov 04 Christopher R. Raper, age 34,
1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 4E, New Matamoras, reported Shane
F. Carpenter, age 33, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 5F, was angry
because he threw Mr. Carpenter out of the Dockside Tavern earlier
in the evening and began pounding incessantly on his door,
yelling and making threatening comments. Mr. Raper later videotaped
Mr. Cristopher exit his apartment, walk across the parking
lot and puncture the left rear tire of his truck. After viewing
the videotape Deputy Sheriff Simmons arrested Mr. Carpenter
for aggravated menacing and criminal damaging and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James Allen Ash, age 46, 16 Pennock Drive,
Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Ash was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 14 Nov 04 at 12:40 am.
Ronald Eugene Snodgres, age 41, 2565 Lexington Avenue, Columbus,
for OVI, for not wearing a seat belt and for failure to control,
all misdemeanors. Snodgres was arrested in Reno by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Nov 04 at 10:20 am.
Shane Franklin Carpenter, age 33, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt.
5F, New Matamoras, for aggravated menacing and for criminal
damaging/endangering, both misdemeanors. Carpenter was arrested
in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 14 Nov 04 at 1:25 pm.
Michelle Rae Oldfield, age 37, 1080 Sandhill
Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Oldfield was arrested in Reno by Lt.
Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Nov 04 at 2:05
pm.
Ronald Dean Welch Jr., age 34, 421 Maple Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Welch was arrested on Wayne Street in
Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail 14 Nov 04 at
4:36 pm.
Derek Alan Byington, age 25, 356 Williams Road Apt. B, Wilmington,
OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Byington turned himself in to Detective Kapple at the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail 14 Nov 04 at 7:10 pm.
