On 13 Nov 04 a Corrections Officer at the
Washington County Jail reported a female acting in a suspicious
manner in the parking lot of Job and Family Services on Gilman
Avenue. Further examination concluded the woman was waving
her hands and lifting her shirt to expose her bare chest to
an inmate at the jail. The woman fled the scene but was identified
via her license plate as Andrea N. Robinson, age 18, 1915 Wynncrest
Drive, Marietta. When questioned, Ms. Robinson admitted exposing
herself to her incarcerated boyfriend. Consequently, Deputy
Sheriff Evans requested a summons for Robinson for disorderly
conduct.
On 13 Nov 04 Gary Gaughan, age 43, 790 Dodd
Run Road, Marietta, reported within the last four weeks his
API Grand Slam tree stand was stolen from a tree in the middle
of his fifteen acre property. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
On 13 Nov 04 Candi G. Schob, age 36, 120 Brant
Drive, Marietta, reported between 2 am and 7 am that morning,
an unknown suspect(s) hurled a rock through the front picture
window of her residence. This case remains under investigation
(1184).
On 13 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriff Norman was dispatched
to the Fox Den on State Route 821 in Lower Salem in response
to a domestic dispute. Julie Ash, age 29, Pennock Trailer Park
Lot 16, Beverly, stated her husband James, age 46, was angered
at the fact that one of his wife’s high school friends
bought her a drink. An argument ensued in the parking lot of
the establishment where Mr. Ash backhanded his wife across
the face knocking her to the ground before leaving the scene.
Deputy Winstanley later located Mr. Ash at his residence, arrested
him for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
On 13 Nov 04 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Michael R. Hagler, age 32, 205 Deerwalk Circle, Marietta,
for traveling 74 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr.
Hagler on State Route 7 near Township 51 in Warren Township.
On 13 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes attempted
to initiate a traffic stop after observing the vehicle he was
following travel to the left of the center line. The driver
accelerated in excess off 100 mph before slowing to a stop
near mile post four on State Route 7. A computer check of the
driver Rhonda M. Larkins, age 45, 705 ½ Maple Avenue,
New Martinsville, WV, returned an active warrant from Pennsylvania
and an expired license. Subsequent to administering field sobriety
tests Deputy Rhoades arrested Ms. Larkins for being a fugitive
from justice, OVI, for fleeing and eluding, for driving under
an expired license and for driving left of center and transported
her to the Washington County Jail.
The following individual
was processed into the Washington
County Jail:
Rhonda May Larkins, age 45, 705 ½ Maple
Avenue, New Martinsville, WV, for .17 breath OVI, for operating
with an expired license, for driving left of center, for failure
to comply with the order of an officer and for being a fugitive
from justice, all misdemeanors. Larkins was arrested on State
Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Nov 04 at 4:30 am.
