On 10 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier investigated a two vehicle collision in the parking lot of Waterford Elementary School at 19700 State Route 339. Tara G. Polan, 3194 Brownrigg Road, Waterford, was in an Oldsmobile Cutlass with her sixteen year old daughter driving, dropping another child off at Waterford Elementary when they were struck from behind by a two door vehicle. Ms. Polan and the male driver exchanged personal information but repeated attempts to contact the driver were unsuccessful. This incident remains under investigation.

On 10 Nov 04 a fifty-four year old New Matamoras resident reported her thirteen year old son constantly disobeys house rules, breaks household items, steals and sells household items and threatens other family members. Informed by the mother that all attempts at discipline have failed, Sgt. Hiatt requested a summons for the juvenile to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of being unruly.

On 10 Nov 04 Joe Eaton, age 35, 1610 Bender Road, Marietta, reported when he returned home from work, a neighbor informed him his ex-wife allegedly broke a window to gain entry in the home and removed a Sanyo TV/VCR combo, a homemade knife and two keys. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 10 Nov 04 Alva J. Watson, age 31, 2600 Glendale Road, Marietta, reported during the past week, thirty-five gallons of gasoline were siphoned from his two vehicles parked in the driveway and twenty-four cans of dog food were stolen from an adjacent barn. This case remains under investigation (792).

On 10 Nov 04 Roger E. Brown II, age 47, 1011 Campus Drive Apt. 3, Belpre, reported when he visited his ex-wife’s residence at 708 Barlow Street, Belpre, to retrieve some of his property, his ex-wife’s roommate Dixie K. Huffman, age 41, instigated a confrontation. As Mr. Brown and his father approached the garage, Ms. Huffman fired three to four shots from an air pistol at the two, striking their vehicle’s windshield on several occasions. Ms. Huffman admitted firing the CO2 pellet gun, was arrested for two counts of assault and transported to the Washington County Jail (684).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Joseph H. Bui, age 26, 111 West Montgomery Street Lot 32, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled meeting and for failing to show proof of restitution as ordered by the court.

Andrew L. Knick, age 22, PO Box 44, Alzada, MT, for criminal damaging for slashing the tires on a Chevy Blazer on 13 Aug 04.

Michael D. Slonaker, age 20, 502 ½ Broadway Avenue, New Matamoras, for criminal damaging and for criminal trespassing on 6 Nov 04.

Ryan L. Adams, age 18, 318 Reynolds Lane, Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment and for failing to attend school as ordered by the court.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Michael Allen Emerick Sr., age 46, 4015 Patten Mills Road, Stockport, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Emerick turned himself in to Sgt. Hiatt at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 04 at 8:20 am.

Anthony Cameron Williams, age 31, 313 Fourth Street, Lowell, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 04 at 10:00 am.

Mark Aaron McIntyre, age 22, 223 Broughton Avenue, Marietta, for felony charges of safecracking, theft and menacing and misdemeanor charges of menacing and domestic violence. McIntyre was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 04 at 1:50 pm.

Jason Todd Bailey, age 28, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Bailey was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 04 at 2:00 pm.

Dixie Kay Huffman, age 41, 708 Barlow Street, Belpre, for two misdemeanor charges of assault. Huffman was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 04 at 3:00 pm.

Pamela Lee Gereshenski, age 36, 101 Theiss Avenue Apt. 1, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Gereshenski was arrested on Theiss Avenue in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 04 at 9:05 pm.
