On 3 Nov 04 Deputy Sheriffs Norman and Malone received a report from an Ohio Valley Cab driver that a male exited the cab on Forshey Road and neglected to pay the fare. While en route the Deputies received another call that a suspect matching the cab driver’s description entered the residence of Megan Rose, age 33, 10 Browns Road Apt. 2B, Marietta. Ms. Rose stated Christopher S. Scarbro, age 32, 900 Glendale Road, Marietta, entered the residence without knocking and without permission and began rummaging through her drawers in search of prescription medication that was not at the residence. Mr. Scarbro then grabbed Ms. Rose by the legs and would not let go, causing her to be in fear for safety and that Mr. Scarbro could cause her physical harm. As a result of their investigation Deputy Norman arrested Mr. Scarbro for burglary, theft and menacing and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 3 Nov 04 Miranda Nicolais, age 18, 1341 Veto Road, Vincent, reported she and a friend were composing a college paper at another friend’s residence when a carload of people appeared, instigating a fight with her friend. During the confrontation Ms. Nicolais attempted to intervene and was struck in the upper arm and torso with a baseball bat. The offending suspects fled the scene shortly thereafter before causing further commotion. This incident remains under investigation (1090).

On 3 Nov 04 Greg Branham, age 19, 123 Windy Point Road, Waterford, reported when he attempted to open an account with Alltell, he discovered another individual used his social security number to open and maintain a cellular phone account since 1999. This case remains under investigation (586).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jeffrey William Hunn, age 18, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Hunn was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 04 at 11:05 am.

Ronda Dequin Britton, age 29, 124 Ewing Street, Lancaster, OH, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Britton was picked up in Fairfield County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 04 at 11:55 am.

Matthew Todd Nonnemacher, age 18, 1819 Moody Ridge Road, Vincent, for burglary, a felony. Nonnemacher was arrested on Main Street in Lower Salem by Detective Kapple of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 04 at 2:50 pm.

Christopher Shane Scarbro, age 32, 900 Glendale Road, Marietta, for a felony charge of burglary and misdemeanor charges of theft and menacing. Scarbro was arrested at Ridgewood Court Apartments by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 04 at 4:40 pm.
