On 2 Nov 04 an employee of Sewah Studios, 190 Mill Creek Road, Marietta, reported between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning two outbuilding doors were pried open and a Dewalt miter saw, a weedeater, a chop saw and a grinder were stolen. This case remains under investigation (698).

On 2 Nov 04 Michael Snyder, age 46, 122 Oak Drive, Little Hocking, reported when he returned home from work at 4 pm after leaving his home at 6 am that morning, he discovered the glass to his back door was shattered and two small folding knives were missing. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 2 Nov 04 a Browns Road resident reported an acquaintance of hers came to her residence in an intoxicated state and on several occasions threatened to harm himself. While speaking with the suspect, Christopher S. Scarbro, age 32, 1422 Northwest Boulevard, Columbus, Sgt. Hiatt noted Mr. Scarbro had a slow reaction time, he slurred his speech and that he swayed as he walked. Once he was physically cleared at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Sgt. Hiatt arrested Mr. Scarbro for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 2 Nov James T. Tilton, age 64, 33314 State Route 7, New Matamoras, reported two friends informed him they witnessed two males doing donuts in the front lawn of the trailer park on Hickory Lane in New Matamoras. This case remains under investigation (695).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrant:

Jared L. Gillespie, age 31, 14403 State Route 676, Waterford, for menacing, a fourth degree misdemeanor.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

John Russell Hilton Jr., age 40, 3300 State Route 26, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Hilton was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 04 at 10:55 am.

Charles Edward Thomas Jr., age 35, 1121 Clayburg Road Lot 63, Greenwich, OH, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Thomas was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 04 at 10:55 am.

Mitchell Lamar Shull, age 36, 5414 Starburst Lane, Homosassa, FL, for assault, a misdemeanor. Shull was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 04 at 11:30 am.

Christopher Shane Scarbro, age 32, 1422 Northwest Boulevard, Columbus, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Scarbro was arrested on Browns Road in Reno by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 04 at 4:05 pm.

Jason Michael Weekly, age 29, 736 Green Street Apt. 8, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Weekly was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 04 at 8:00 pm.

Roland Scott Foss, age 33, PO Box 340, Waterford, for OVI, driving under a suspended license, driving outside the marked lanes of travel, for not wearing a seat belt and for breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors. Foss was arrested in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 04 at 9:35 pm.
