On 28 Oct 04 Detective Jenkins issued a citation to Gregory P. Domres, age 18, 3088 Jay Street, Ravenna, OH, traveling 81 mph in a 60 mph zone. Detective Jenkins stopped Mr. Domres on US 50 near Township 124 in Belpre Township.

On 28 Oct 04 Deputy Sheriff Malone issued a citation to Joshua L. Karcher, age 20, 211 Sandhill Road, Marietta, for operating a four wheeler on the roadway. Deputy Malone stopped Mr. Karcher on Sandhill Road near Brant Drive in Marietta Township.

On 28 Oct 04 Thomas F. Cernus, age 51, 320 Oakwood Avenue, Marietta, reported during the past two weeks he witnessed two males disposing of trash on his property at 1225 County House Lane. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 28 Oct 04 a forty-one year old New Matamoras resident reported witnessing two juvenile males throwing three eggs at a home at 712 Fourth Street in New Matamoras. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 28 Oct 04 a seventeen year old Warren High School student reported her 1995 Ford Mustang was keyed during school hours at some point during the last six days. This case remains under investigation (1090).

On 28 Oct 04 Clarence Hupp Jr., age 56, 282 Ridgewood Drive Apt. C, Marietta, reported during the last week the front and rear license plates, number DDB 3759, were stolen from his vehicle while parked at J & L Transmission, 4491 State Route 60, Marietta. This case remains under investigation (1091).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Leonard M. Gross, age 51, 3737 West Salem Road, Burbank, OH, a warrant upon indictment for a felony and a misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks.

Roland S. Foss, age 33, PO Box 340 State Route 266, Waterford, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear for arraignment on 4 Oct 04.

Christina D. Carter, age 28, 589 Valley View Road, St Marys, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $133.25.

Kristy D. Davis, age 24, 46 Lemon Lane, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to appear at a scheduled meeting on 11 Oct 04 and for failing to show proof of completing supervised community service as ordered by the court.

Michelle E. George, age 34, 1307 15th Street, Vienna, for passing a bed check for $483.75 on 14 Aug 04.

Dawn M. Haught, age 28, 114 Oakview Drive #10, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve fifteen days in jail on 1 Oct 04.

Adam D. Mason, age 20, 2100 Hill Street Apt. 6, Belpre, for failing to appear to serve five days in jail on 16 Oct 04.

Ron M. Patterson, age 23, 424 Third Street Apt. 3, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear at a scheduled meeting on 11 Oct 04 and for failing to show proof of completing counseling as ordered by the court.

Jack L. Watson, age 21, 1900 27th Street Apt. E, Parkersburg, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $621.40.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Charles Arthur Hughes III, age 23, 2090 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for OVI, theft, driving left of center, driving under a suspended license and for obstructing official business, all misdemeanors. Hughes was at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Oct 04 at 2:25 am.
