On 23 Oct 04 Timothy M. Clagg, age 27, Fulda Road, Caldwell, reported while he lived in Washington County an acquaintance allegedly used, without permission, his personal information to purchase merchandise over the phone. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 23 Oct 04 Deputy Sheriff McLeish issued a citation to Seth J. Mastrodomenico, age 19, 510 Chamberlain Drive, Marietta, for operating an unsafe vehicle and for operating with expired non-owner license plate tags. Deputy McLeish stopped Mr. Mastrodomenico on State Route 60 near Arends Ridge Road in Muskingum Township after observing him operating a demolition derby vehicle on the roadway.

On 23 Oct 04 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued a citation to Richard E. Smyth Jr., age 36, 9371 Ramsey Road, Bridgeport, NY, for traveling 84 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Stackpole stopped Mr. Smyth on State Route 7 near Township 51 in Dunham Township.

On 23 Oct 04 Deputy Sheriff Malone investigated a report from a New Matamoras resident who claimed hearing what sounded like gunshots coming from Second Street in New Matamoras.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Tyson Chad Hill, age 23, 205 Gibbons Street Apt. B, Marietta, for failure to reinstate his operator’s license, a misdemeanor. Hill was arrested at Speedway in Marietta by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Oct 04 at 1:55 am.

James Michael Fox Jr., age 34, 106 Woodrow Street, Marietta, for breaking and entering and for two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, all felonies. Fox was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman Heddleston of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Oct 04 at 10:43 am.
